How effective!

Ptg smlm, aku call Maybank... waktu Msia masa tu dlm pkul 1am. Aku desperate utk kenaikan credit limit for my credit card sbb nak bayar 1st installment accommodation. Salah sendiri, lambat sgt setup direct debit, so accommodation office katanya tak leh nak buat transaction. Tp, masa aku setup tu belum lagi sampai due. Tp takpe, depa tak kisah cuma kene bayar 1st installment by immediate card payment.

Sambung balik citer aku contact Maybank ptg semlm... pagi ni aku check... wah depa dah naikkn! Sungguh berkesan kan...

So, skrg ni cuma perlu tunggu reply from accomodation office brp aku kene byr sbnrnya... suruh aku bayar, tp tak ckp berapa. Mengikut pengiraan aku GBP1,309. Btw, servis kat sini mmg lembap. Tu yg aku pun kdg2 terikut jd lembap sama. Nak bank statement pun, kene tunggu pos... mcm lah tak leh print jer kat bank tu. Dah amik debit card, nak kene tunggu pin number by post plak. Debit card tu pun nak siap amik masa 3 minggu. Agak2 klu nak naik credit card limit, tak tau lah brp lama kene tunggu.

Kat sini, normal guna debit card utk bayar apa shj. So, aku rasa mmg kene ada lah debit card. Ni salah satu yg buat aku lembap setup akaun bank sbb mula2 aku bukak HSBC. Rupa2nya dia charge GBP6 sebulan utk kad debit. So, aku bukak basic account jer kat HSBC, without debit card. Giler apa... aku boleh beli baju tau dgn GBP6. Byk pilihan kat Primark. Byngkn, 12 bulan... 12 helai baju!

Pastu aku bukak NatWest plak. Depa tak charge apa2 pun utk kad debit. Tp, proses nak bukak akaun tu yg makan masa. Kiranya aku ada 2 akaun bank lah kt sini... tp HSBC tu aku ignore jer. ATM card pun aku tak amik... nasib baik aku tak deposit lg duit dlm bank HSBC.

Oh yer, cakap pasal credit card... hari Rabu lepas, 1st time aku try guna credit card. I try not to use credit card here... takut menjadi shopaholic. Mula2 try pakai Maybank... huhuu tak lepas. Tak tau sbb apa. Tp tak lah ralat sgt, I have cash ok. Then, try pakai CIMB plak... lepas pun. Apa lagi sign jer lah. Aku beli kasut Clarks. Ni lah kasut yg aku beli...

Harga kasut Clarks kat sini sama jer dgn Msia... takde murahnya pun wlupun Clarks dr UK. Mahal lg maybe ada. Yg aku beli ni harga dia GBP49.99. Mmg carik kasut kaler hitam... senang, comot pun tak nampak. Nampak kasut ni terus terpikat... black in color & I like the purple accents.

Pastu, kepala aku pun start rasa kuar tanduk ... nak beli jacket kat Marks & Spencer. Tp aku end up, beli glove & muffler jer... pay by cash, GBP12. So, rasanya aku takkan bertukar menjadi shopaholic. Lagipun actually aku baru jer beli jacket kt M&S hari Sabtu lepas... this will be another story.

Ok lah, nak gi mandi. Hari ni kelas pagi batal. Seperti biasa abis kelas pukul 5. Anyway, today is Friday. Happy weekend everyone!

Friday, late at night... instead of expecting a group of drunken people, the city might be quite surprised to see 9 completely sane people, walking, running, singing & snapping pictures.

To the parents who think about sending their kids studying abroad, look at this picture & think again. Ni lah jadinya bila dah jauh dr mak bapak. Sbg yg paling tua, aku rasa bertanggungjawab utk merakamkn gambar ni...

Hehee... gambar2 di atas hanya lah lakonan semata2. They were not drunk, not even high... maybe a lil bit hyperactive. Motif? Mungkin utk menambah koleksi foto dlm Facebook. So, takde sape yg cedera ok.

Shivering Cold or Scared?

Ada bbrp lg entry raya tak update... tp kita hold dulu citer raya. Here's a fresh story from last nite...

Malam td aku join Sh*verpool tour! Asalnya mcm malas jer nak join sekali since I've got a cold, tapi memandangkn aku dah setuju nak join before this & depa dah book for my place as well, join gak lah. Lgpun, Umi nak tido bilik aku malam td. Pukul 7, dia dah sampai dah. So, ala2 kene drag kuar bilik lah ni.

Aku join tour ni dgn Umi & 7 org budak Msia yg lain. Aku dgn Umi jer budak MSc, yg lain2 tu undergrad. Not just us, ada gak mat salleh yg join tour ni. Semuanya ada lah dalam 20 org. Click here for more info about the tour.

Kitorang ingatkn konon2 nak tgk hantu lah, tp rupa2nya berjalan kaki sekitar Liverpool City sambil mendgr cerita hantu. Iyer2 jer menyeramkan diri sendiri... tp tak seram pun. Lawak ada lah.

Sbb story telling jer, takde amik gambar pun. Kitorang ada gak tangkap gambar with the story tellers tp kamera org lain. Nanti klu ada yg letak kat Facebook, I'll upload here k!

The tour started around 10pm & finished at around 11pm. Memandangkan malam masih muda & aku pun masih muda gak, we all pun jalan2 lah around city... apa lg masa utk jd camwhore!

Ni lah geng yg join Shiv*rpool tu. Where was me? I was behind the camera. Bg can lah kat budak2 yg kemaruk bergambar ni...

Yg ni plak raya's invitation dr budak undergrad JMU, freshie gak on Thursday, Oct 2. Katanya mcm kat JMU tak ramai Melayu, so jemputlah kitorg yg dr UoL ni. Kitorg apa lg, belasah je. Dia belanja pizza & nasi goreng. Semoga murah rezeki lah yer...

Tetiba terbayang plak kesedapan pizza tu.

Muka2 org yg kekenyangan... tu pun ada sekotak pizza tak berusik lg tu.

Camni lah kitorg beraya... dapat makan2 tu pun dah kira raya.

Sebenarnya aku tgh malas tahap cipan ni. Semalam aku rasa aku dah rajin giler. Study a.k.a tenung lecture notes hampir spjg mlm sblm tido tau. There are always notes/books to read & assignments to be finished. I should start tenung some lectures note now.

I desperately need help...

Di kala jam menunjukkan hampir pukul 12:00am, I decided that I desperately need help.

I looked at the notes, trying to making some sense over the terms & formulas. All I can see are terms that I can't really define in a way that I myself could understand & formulas which my brain translated into nothingness.

Feel like I'm lost in a deep deep shit forest.
I need to get out. So I ask for help! Please help me... (you know who you are ;-))

I'm in Liverpool which synonymous with The Beatles... & I need help. So, there's no any other song that is best describes my situation at the moment... 'Help' by The Beatles.

Raya's Sneak Peek

I was sad...

... this morning but now I'm happy!

Why? Because this morning, I just found out that the time to check mails is restricted from 8 to 10 & 4 to 4:45 on weekdays. I was expecting the printer that I've ordered online from Argos to be delivered today. But I have class till 5. So mcm tak sempat je nak amik printer tu nanti. I was sad... & the cold weather (+ the unbalanced hormone too... hiksss) made me felt sadder... :-( .

Luckily, the class finished earlier at 4:40 & I rushed out to get back. Yes! The porter's lodge was openned & there was Robbie sitting. I was so glad to see Robbie & as usual asked him if there's any mail for room 83 & there it was... my printer!

Finally, I'm ready to be a student! I've got a printer. Not just a printer... but an all-in-one printer. I'm happy. What a relief. If you're a student, you'll understand how relieve it is to own something that will help you go thru life as a student.

Being me... yer, aku student yg demand... printer is a must. A good one is a bonus ;-). Tak yah pening2 dah nak pikir kat mana & bila masa nak print.

Errr... tp plain A4 paper takde lg. Esok lah carik, klu sempat.

Btw, tomorrow siang ada jamuan raya & for dinner I got another invitation. It means free meal for lunch & dinner!
