Jalan-jalan Cari Gym

Semangat ni nak kurus. =P

I've surveyed 5 gyms or fitness centres in order to find a good one in terms of the facilities provided, charged fee, distance from my office/home and the ambiance. I like T.L.S. in Kajang but it's quite far. The one in Equa^torial Hotel is not bad either. The gym is smaller compare to T.L.S but I love the sauna, steam bath & changing room. Looks very comfortable.

I also surveyed none-commercial gyms. Low fee but there's no other facility beside the gym.

After considering all the pros & cons, I think I should give the idea of joining a fitness centre a try first. So, yesterday I signed up for a 1-month trial at Az^Zahrah.

Today, I went home sweating after 1 and 1/2 hours workout. =D

I see you...

... in 3D. Yeap I've watched Avatar in 3D at KLCC last Saturday.

Overall, the storyline is ok. Walaupun 2 jam lebih, tak terasa. However, the plot is actually simple & predictable. Just that the planet Pandora where the local Navi lived is surreal with the fluorescent forest & floating islands. Memang cantik lah.

The message is good. Ada part yg sedih, tp tak lah sampai menangis. Sedih dgn ketamakan manusia.

But I'm quite disappointed with the 3D. I'm hoping many (many, many) things will pop out not just out of the screen, but feel like they're within our reach. Maybe I expect too much. Btw, the 3D glasses here look like made out of thick paper. Tapi masih selesa dipakai. Kat Liverpool dulu, memang mcm sun glasses. Tp mcm sun glasses yg murah lah.

However, there's no subtitle for the movie in 3D. Rasa mcm tengok movie kat UK plak.

Apa pun, enjoy tengok movie ni.

T.G.I.T!

Thank God It's Thursday! =D

Beberapa minggu ni, kita rasa seronok apabila tiba hari Khamis.

Hari ni juga keputusan PMR diumumkan. It's the moment of truth!

Hahaaa... somehow the phrase - "it's the moment of truth!" put a smile on my face. I think it's my favorite phrase during the master program. Mungkin penggunaannnya kurang tepat, but it was kinda funny to say it out loud even just to check the simulation result.

I can't recall on how did I study for PMR & managed to gel all As. But I do remember that I put extra efforts for Form 3 mid year exam & PMR trial exam just to be one of the best students in the class.

Jadi, moralnya, berikan usaha yg terbaik & buat persiapan awal utk menghadapi peperiksaan.

Ketika SPM pula, masih segar dlm ingatan malam kertas Kimia. Target A1 sebab rasa dah ulangkaji habis wlupun buku rujukan Kimia antara yg paling tebal, sampai tak tau nak ulangkaji apa lg malam tu. So malam tu mcm rilek jer. Keputusannya, hanya mendapat A2. Tu lah yakin sgt. Jadi, yakin sgt pun tak boleh. Jgn berhenti memberikan yg terbaik jika mahu yg terbaik.

Isk... terasa penat. Lain kali lah sambung. Sambung zaman universiti pula.

Back to the PMR result, whatever the result is, it's not the end of the world & since it's 'just' PMR, it isn't the end of the bright future.

Masih belum terlambat kerana SPM bakal menyusul 2 tahun lagi. Ini yg akan menentukan langkah kita seterusnya pd masa hadapan. Mulakan usaha dari sekarang. Target biar tinggi sebab target ni yg akan drive kita untuk berusaha.

Apa yg penting?? Bukan kerjasama, tapi kerja keras... ;-)

Back from graduation to Winter School, now it's time...

... utk sambung jet lag!

Today is 1 Muharam 1431H. I have a few resolutions. Would like to state them down, but not now. Generally being a better person than the year before.

As for now, I think I could use some sleep.

Graduation_Day@Liverpool: Part 2

The graduation day was held on Tuesday, 8 Dec. I arrived at Liverpool on Monday nite. Since my session was at 3:30pm, so there was enough time in the morning for me to prepare for the ceremony like collecting the ticket & the graduation gown.

We had to hire our gown online before Nov 23 where we had to submit the measurement for the gown & hat. So the gown was collected by showing them the reference number. There were staff assigned to demonstrate/help us on how to wear the gown. I started feeling the excitement. =D

Hall where the graduation gowns were collected by the graduands.

Before getting ready for the graduation ceremony, I went to the city for window shopping. Really, it was good to be back to Liverpool & see the familiar places.

A few hours before the graduation ceremony.

A post specially dedicated to those who cracking their heads thinking of what to give me for my birthday =P

YES! It's Year End Sale & my birthday is coming. So here's my wish list...

1. Contact lens cleaner - Yang ada skrg dah rosak. Salah sendiri. Saya adalah pemakai contact lens tegar yg pemalas. So I really need a machine to clean the contact lens for me.

2. Epilator - Rasa tak larat lah nak threading/waxing consistently. So, I think the solution is an epilator.
3. Nintendo's Wii - Fun home workout. =D

4. Inverter convection microwave oven.

5. Glasses - I need a new pair that matches my tudung now. I'm interested with this design...

Nicole - A.N.T.M Cycle 13 winner

6. Multi-colored or red or orange or purple leather handbag - Not too small & not too big in size.

7. Stylish sassy wedges/sandals.

8. Tudung E^kin & yg sewaktu dgnnya - I love this tudung. So easy to wear. But the fabric for the cap must be different from the rest of the tudung.
Some of my collection.

9. Pocket PC with a sleek design like iPhone - Mine is still in a good condition. Tp tu lah, tak cantik. So far in my mind is this...

Just 9 & that's all. I'm absolutely not a demanding person. =D

Graduation_Day@Liverpool: Part 1

Where do I start? Too much to tell but too lazy to type & too bz to spend time typing it (read: nak baring tgk TV).

Ok, I did say before that I won't attend the graduation ceremony. Actually I told my friends a.k.a my comrades in Liverpool that I'd only consider of attending the ceremony if I got distinction. Too ambitious? I don't think so. It just that we hv to set our goals high & there are only 2 levels of passing the program - with or without distinction. So, of course I want to pass with distinction. Besides, there are other factors to be considered as well such as time, cost, mood etc.

To make a long story short, I do get distinction & after considering all the above factors I think I have to go. Otherwise, I might regret it later for skipping this once of a life time experience especially after all the hard works for a year. That's also why I should write it down (or type?) no matter how lazy or bz I am. =D

Pics before the ceremony.

The money and time spent, jet lag, travel sickness etc are worth it...

... it was an awesome-memorable-ceremony of the day!

I did it.
I pass the Master with Distinction.
Yay!

Detailed story later. It's time for (window) shopping! Oxford Street here I come...
