Mindless Monday

Yesterday, I watched X-Men First~Class. Kalau rajin, I'll review about the movie later. Briefly I'd say it's a good movie. I like. Very entertaining. However I like the 4th installment more. I plan to watch all the previous installments but tonite is How-I-Met-Your-Mother's nite. Tomorrow nite will be Glee's nite. So probably on Wednesday I'll watch the 1st installment.

A lesson from a movie

Just finished watching 'Bride Wars'.

Not the 1st time though I watched the movie. However, the 1st time I watched it on internet where the picture & sound qualities were bad. So, tak enjoy sangat. But, it's a chick flick movie anyway. Kualiti teruk pun masih senang nak faham.

To my surprised, the song (my song as JD said) 'Dream' by Priscilla Ahn is one of the soundtrack.

The song was played when both of them were about to walk down the aisle. Tak perasan pulak masa tengok dulu. I was introduced to the song when I watched 'Grey's~Anatomy' actually. Even though just a bit was played in one of the episodes of the TV series, I felt in love instantly with the song. Luckily we have internet. So just googled around to identify the title & singer of the song.

Ok, actually I wanna talk about the movie, not the soundtrack. It's about two best friends become rivals. They don't just fight, but they sabotage each other in quite cruel ways. To make the story short, at the end they apologize to each other. Somehow the fight has opened their eyes. I don't recall exactly what did Liv (Hudson) say, but she said something about being awake, that she used to be in control. Now, she realizes that it's ok to let go her feeling or something like that. The fight has awaken her.

Yawn. I feel sleepy already. So, the moral of the story is best friends fight, forgive & last forever. I guess that's the different between best friends & just friends.

Yay, it's Friday! Very cliche kan.

Alrite for the sake of keeping this blog updated, let's talk about yesterday or whatever...

- Had a seminar on the morning. The organizer was very unrealistic. Ada ke hanya 20 minit untuk satu pembentangan termasuk sesi Q&A. Nasib baik ada pembentang yang tak hadir. Kalau tak, 1:30pm baru tamat kot.

- Mas ajak gi Wong Solo during the lunch break. Seperti biasa, menu favorite - set ayam penyet with es buah.

- Untuk kali kedua, tersalah pakai kasut. Lain sebelah. Keluar kereta, jalan menuju ke dewan rasa tak balance. Baru perasan salah pakai kasut. Masa keluar rumah tak perasan sebab dari pintu rumah ke kereta cuma beberapa langkah. The 1st time, siap dah berjalan-jalan dalam shopping complex. Masa mencuba kasut di bahagian kasut baru perasan. Sedangkan very obvious, sebelah coklat, sebelah hitam. Tapi balance, tu yang tak perasan sepanjang berjalan.

- Malam tadi menonton 'Hantu Kak~Limah Balik Rumah'. Baca review, ramai yang kata best. Tapi, aku tengok tak best. Tak lawak sangat. Bagi aku, 'Zombie Kg~Pisang' lagi lawak. Ni yang buat aku malas nak keluar duit tengok wayang, beli DVD or langgan Astro First untuk tengok cerita melayu. Baik tunggu raya. Malam ni JD ajak tengok 'Ngangkung' pulak. Baru teringat, malam ni pukul 10:00pm nak tengok sambungan 'Deathrace' kat Max channel. Minggu lepas tengok tak abis.

- Seperti biasa, pukul 10:50pm menonton 'Criminal~Minds' kat Fox channel. Boleh rasa terharu pulak tengok ending malam tadi. Beberapa hari yang lalu, 'Criminal~Minds' ada kes kat Eugene, Oregon. Teringat training kat US dulu.

- Sedar-sedar dah pukul 1am. Terus off laptop & tidur.

Updates!

Sekadar gambar hiasan.

Tempoh hari aku lunch di sebuah kafe kecil berwarna putih. The ambiance of the cafe was nice with English touch. However, based on the quality & the quantity of the meal, I'd say the price was ridiculously expensive. Tambahan pula, pilihan untuk makan tengahari/malam adalah terhad. Tidak sesuai untuk pelanggan yang kelaparan yang inginkan hidangan yang enak & menyenyangkan. Setakat lepak, minum air & makan kek lebih sesuai.

 

Malam tadi ke pawagam menonton 'The~Green~Hornet'. Nice movie, a very entertaining one. Biasalah, cerita superhero mesti tak logik. Even if they could suddenly fly, it'd make sense to me. But, a high-end computerized car equipped with a fax machine can't transfer data via USB to internet just doesn't make sense to me. So, I didn't buy the chasing act at the end of the story. But as I said earlier, it's still an entertaining movie.

Afterlife in 3D

After Avatar, I don't wanna expect much from a 3D movie. However I did expect to see zombie's head flew out from the screen in this RE fourth installment. Unfortunately, there's no such 3D effect in the movie... maybe the director thinks it's too gross. However, overall the 3D isn't disappointing. The movie itself for me is an entertaining action packed movie. The 3D makes it more interesting.

Fine, as expected the storyline is totally different from the game. It just that I don't understand why did they still keep Umbrella in the picture. I fail to comprehend the motive. The good thing is we still can relate to the game. Kinda intriguing to see that Alice actually did carry all the weapons with her & collect coins. Most importantly, there's Christ~Redfield in the movie although not as the main character.

Suddenly I feel like watching the previous installments.

On ramblings and reminiscences

Somehow the recent 5-nights course reminds me to the MSc program. The ordeal (studying, presenting & submitting a report) is quite similar but the pressure is different. During the MSc, I took it as a challenge, but during the course, I felt somewhat fedup. The point is, the environment & the people are different.

Some people do think that others are their competitors rather than comrades & take it very seriously. Some people do believe that they couldn't compete on their own, but need some 'advantages'. Some people do feel that if the chances are equal, they are going to lose.

Well, reminiscing about the days during the MSc program...

Lecture notes. 7 files with different colors indicate 7 subjects per semester. The source of stress.

Bila stress - makan. Sebab ni lah tak kurus-kurus. Naik lagi ada... =P

Having 2 sets of burger for a lunch/dinner with a wide range of appertizers & dessert dishes was normal.

My healthy breakfast & meal between meals.

Recess. Sambil menguyah anything yg available dlm fridge, layan online TV...

A proud man in an iron suit

If you check my profile, I did state that one of my favorite movies is Iron Man. So, of course I'm looking forward to watch Iron Man 2.

Watched it yesterday. At 11am, most of the shows of the day were already full. The story is great, not that awesome but still great. Most importantly it's not disappointing. The movie is indeed fictional. So, leave your logical sense at the door. Just relax & enjoy the movie.

Even though I knew that the movie is fictional & illogical, still I googled about miniature arc reactor. Just imagine lots of energy could be generated by that small scale device. Love the part when he built a beam machine to produce a new element. Wow, just by himself in one day ok!

If there's Iron Man 3, certainly I'm gonna watch it.

Panas!

Yup, the weather is hot today. I planned to return a rental book since the due date is tomorrow. However, I spent the day by watching this movie instead.

Not once, but twice! At the 1st time, I watched the movie alone. For the 2nd time, I watched it with JD.

Kalau dah tengok 2 kali pada hari yg sama, maknanya best lah kan. I love the script/screenplay & Fazura's character in this movie. Gedik in a cute way.

If there is TV series adapted from the movie, I guess I'd be one of the fan. I could imagine Fazura (with her gedik-ness & cute dress) & Aaron.Aziz work together as detectives.

Oh my Coach! I should be studying now. =D

Super Duper Cute

Masa raya hari tu, sempat posing...

tp yang ni 2D.

Masa gi graduation day hari tu, kat wayang ada plak yg ala-ala 3D. Nak posing beriyer2 segan. So duduk jer lah kat kerusi.

I did watch the 1st one. Tu pun sebab free, GSC Ala^manda buat promotion masa baru bukak kot.

I think I just meant to watch the sequel even though I didn't plan to.

Memang cute sgt. Rasa mcm nak bela sekor (atau beberapa ekor). Sape yang tak nak kan bela chipmunk yang pandai bercakap & menyanyi. If I have to choose which one, I guess I'll choose either Theodore or Simon. Alvin tu nakal & degil sangatlah. So annoying. What makes the movie extra cute is the chiplets. What a cuteness!

Kesimpulannya, filem ini adalah sebuah filem yang comel sesuai untuk tontonan seisi keluarga. At least me & my family did enjoy watching it. =D

I see you...

... in 3D. Yeap I've watched Avatar in 3D at KLCC last Saturday.

Overall, the storyline is ok. Walaupun 2 jam lebih, tak terasa. However, the plot is actually simple & predictable. Just that the planet Pandora where the local Navi lived is surreal with the fluorescent forest & floating islands. Memang cantik lah.

The message is good. Ada part yg sedih, tp tak lah sampai menangis. Sedih dgn ketamakan manusia.

But I'm quite disappointed with the 3D. I'm hoping many (many, many) things will pop out not just out of the screen, but feel like they're within our reach. Maybe I expect too much. Btw, the 3D glasses here look like made out of thick paper. Tapi masih selesa dipakai. Kat Liverpool dulu, memang mcm sun glasses. Tp mcm sun glasses yg murah lah.

However, there's no subtitle for the movie in 3D. Rasa mcm tengok movie kat UK plak.

Apa pun, enjoy tengok movie ni.

I've been informed that Prof. *** is the assessor for my MSc Project instead of Dr. *** as stated in the MSc Projects Allocation file. However Prof. *** is in different field, where he might not be suitable as the assessor of my project which is more related to digital system.

I hope you'll consider this. Thank you.

The reply:

Hi, I don’t think there is a problem- we all try to be fair. Also we have another assessment panel to moderate the final marks.

How fair is't when the other students project assessor are in the same field? Somebody who could understand their projects, who can judge them by the work & output of the project... not just marking based on the organization, language & contents generally.

Well, somehow the coordinator is the one who mentioned about trying-to-be-fair. So, there's an issue there. By having another assessment panel will solve this issue? Should I be relief then? This so-called assessment panel will have several numbers of meeting so that the result can only be published after a month & that's it. Nothing will change just like our exam marks.

Nak komplen & persoalkan lebih2 pun tak guna sebab penilai tu org penting dlm dept. Dia patut lebih tahu adalah tidak wajar menjadi penilai kepada projek yg bukan di bawah bidang dia. Dah lah tu, aku memang tak suka dia dari dulu. Sombong & berlagak. Dia pernah marah student for a silly thing. Kalau komplen lebih2 he might tell me to push off like he did to the poor student.

Maybe the assessor that had been assigned to my project before is very busy & dept kekurangan lecturer dalam bidang digital electronics, which is true. So, aku & sorang lagi student menjadi mangsa of dept attemp of 'try-to-be-fair'.

Somehow this dept is 'suckier' (more than suck) than I thought.

Rasa macam mimpi ngeri bila supervisor aku bgtau pasal ni. Aku rasa supervisor aku pun terkejut & dia yg nasihatkan kitorang supaya emel the coordinator. Yeah, I got a low mark for my interim report but knowing the assessor, he's being generous already. If only I knew he'll be my assessor, I'll write my interim report like the preliminary report. That's another thing that piss me off.

It's unfair! Indeed.

Nampaknya harapan utk dapat markah yg baik dalam projek - berkecai. InsyaAllah, aku lulus. Tapi terasa kecewa sebab projek ni akan affect markah purata aku & I couldn't maintain it. Seperti dlm lumba lari, aku dah mendahului peserta lain, tapi tetiba terjatuh sebab lane aku ada batu. Or is't just me being unlucky? Yes, I'm being dramatic now.

Mungkin terlalu awal utk kecewa. I couldn't help it.

Untuk menceriakan hati yang lara, aku ke city centre menonton citer The Ugly Truth sambil menikmati core sundae. Nyum, nyum. Citer ni ok tp hanya sesuai utk tontonan org dewasa. Kelakar. Memang menghiburkan. Lupa kejap masalah ni. Suka Katherine Hei^gl. Hari tu layan Knocked^Up pun sebab dia.


Somehow this movie has reminded me that I got a pocket full of sunshine =D by having this song as one of the soundtrack.

I smile up to the sky, I know I'll be all right.

For me the ugly truth is no matter how hard you try, no matter how good you are, no matter how well you've planned, no matter how control freak you naturally are... things don't always turn out as you expect them to be.

Things happen for reasons.

Boring!

After 1 1/2 hours, I started checking my watch & feeling uncomfortable. Huh, sejam lg nak abis. Tukar posisi duduk. Tukar lagi. Bila dah boring, duduk pun serba tak kene lah. I'm talking about Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince.

I'm not a HP fan. I don't read the book. So, I only expect it on par with the previous one. Btw, before watching this movie, aku tengok HP3, 4 & 5. I enjoy watching HP3 & 4 again. Yg ke-5 aku tgk (utk pertama kalinya) online sdgkn mmg dah rancang nak beli DVD sekali dgn HP1 & 2 keesokan hari. Tapi sebab tak sabar punya pasal tengok lah online. Mula2 ingat nak tengok sikit jer, sbb masa tu pun hampir pukul 12am tp akhirnya terlayan sampai abis. Skrin kecik with no subtitle, still I enjoy watching HP&TOoP.

HP&THBP ni bagi aku takde aksi, tak adventure sangat & kurang magik. Ada part kelakar, tapi gitu2 jer lah. Maybe for some audiences find that teenage crushes between Harry-Ginny & Ron-Hermione are so sweet. But for me, I'm not easily touched by love scene. I didn't even get bitten by Cullens when I watched Twilight. So, setakat love between these young couples mmg aku tak rasa apa2 lah. In fact aku rasa memang I'm not supposed to feel anything. I don't feel the connection between the 2 pairs especially Harry-Ginny.

Paling menyedihkan bagi aku ialah bila Dumbledore mati tak sedih langsung. Watak penting tu, tapi mati tak tragik pun. I think this is the biggest failure in the movie. Aku lebih terasa bila Optimus Prime mati wlupun tau yg dia takkan mati utk selamanya. Part rumah Ron terbakar looks insignificant. Macam tergantung je. These 2 parts should be more intense. Elaborated by more fighting scenes & a special funeral for Dumbledore maybe.

The movie might be a bad adaptation or whatever based on the book. I don't read the book so I don't care about how they're supposed to adapt it. I only care about what I watch. Really I think they decide to screw this movie intentionally. Whatever we do, still people will watch it & the fan would love just seeing Harry Potter in action, so why give a damn. Hahahaa... now I sound like I hate it. No I don't but got carried away while typing this review. For me, it's an emotionless story. No climax. Aku bagi 2.5/5.

DVD HP1 - 5. Don't mind to watch HP6 again, but only in DVD.

Balik bilik layan DVD HP1 & 2 back to back, lagi enjoy. Ramai org kata HP3 is the best, but I like HP2 the most. Macam2 ada. Somehow bila tengok HP2, baru aku nmpk Ginny mmg suka kat Harry & there's something between Ron & Hermione. Apa2 pun HP6 is the worst.

Sebelum tengok wayang, sempat beli Crocs. Mary Jane for me...

& Athens for JD.

Jadi tetap pulang dengan ceria. Now I'm thinking about buying jibbitzs for my Mary Jane. Might be too old for that but hey never too old to be young =D.

Byk sbnrnya benda yg aku nak tulis. Tapi... macam biasalah kan, aku kan bz. Nak approve komen pun amik masa berhari-hari.

Ok, 2 bulan lagi aku nak balik. Yeehaaaa!!! I'll be back for good. Even graduation day on Dec 8 pun aku takkan attend. Wah, macam pasti giler bunyinya kan. Tapi mmg takde hati langsung nak attend walaupun tiket pergi balik KL-London AirAsia RM2k jer.

Sabtu lepas aku gi shopping. Ingat nak gi Manchester, tapi bila sampai city, nmpk ada sale. So decided shopping kat Liverpool ni jer lah. Ingat nak beli handbag, tp takde pun yg berkenan. Beli sepasang kasut kat Clarks...

& 6 helai 'tudung' Tie Racks.

Clarks tu after 50% discount dapat lah ~£25. Tudung Tie Racks tu plak after sale £3 jer satu. La ni, kalau shopping pun aku fokus kpd office attire. Maklum lah, 2 bulan lg nak kene masuk keje balik. Huwaaaaaa...

Tetiba aku rasa nak offer diri menjadi personal shopper... atau pembeli-belah peribadi. Yes, I'm willing to be your personal shopper for free!

Saya sudi membelikan anda apa2 yg anda nak beli di UK ni, khasnya di Liverpool. Selain Clarks & Tie Racks, nak tau apa yg ada di Liverpool, check website ni.

Ok lah, aku citer skit apa yg ada kt Liverpool ni. Aku rasa tak byk yg ada kat Liverpool ni. Jgn berangan lah nak beli designer handbags or shoes. Aku berangan gak, tapi takde kat sini. Nak tau brand handbag apa yg ada kat sini, boleh lah check website Debenhams. Actually aku ni bukan lah personal shopper yg baik sbb aku sendiri jarang shopping. Kalau ada permintaan, akan diusahakan. Tapi tak janji ok.

Ahad, keesokkan harinya aku gi Manchester. Ingat nak jenguk designer handbag kat Selfridges. Tapi takde sale plak. Rasa kecik diri bila tengok 1 handbag harga beribu pound. Dah takde sale, lalu jer lah. Segan nak belek lebih2. Tak beli apa2 pun. Mood shopping mati sebab tak nampak pun perkataan SALE.

Dah sampai Manchester, rugi plak kalau nak balik gitu je. End up tengok Transformers 2 in IMAX. Kat Liverpool takde IMAX theater. Saja nak cuba apa yg bestnya IMAX ni. Rupanya IMAX ni pakai giant screen. Sebelum start citer, beriyer2 intro pasal IMAX ni. Crystal clear image, digitized... siap they call it 'experience' not just watching movie. Tapi tak clear mana pun gambar dia. Macam pakai projektor gak, cuma zoom. Tak tau lah IMAX tipu ke atau Odeon kat Manchester ni yg tipu. Yg pasti skrin dia mmg besar giler. Aku rasa ada 4 kali ganda or more drp normal screen. Sampai susah nak fokus especially tang robot tu bergaduh. Not for me. Aku lebih selesa tengok skrin normal jer. Tapi kalau betul the image is crystal clear, maybe the experience would be better. Nasib baik citer best, so kali kedua pun layan.


Oh yer, balik kepada perkhidmatan percuma yg ditawarkan, selain membeli apa yg ada di Liverpool ni, saya juga sudi membeli-belah secara online utk anda. Kalau ada benda yg berkenan cthnya di eBay atau Amazon, tp shipping only in UK, saya boleh tolong belikan.

Ok kawan2, just tell me so ok kalau nak aku tolong belikan apa2. Aku tau yg masuk blog aku ni pun member2 aku jer, tu yg berani menawarkan perkhidmatan percuma ni. Kalau benda tu sikit, aku boleh lah selit sekali dgn barang2 aku. Tapi kalau dah byk, kene lah charge lebih utk shipping.

The drawback is barang2 tu hanya akan sampai di Msia bersama dgn barang2 aku 6-8 minggu setelah aku balik. So, bulan 10 baru sampai. InsyaAllah. Kalau tak sampai, aku tak bertanggungjawab.

Esok, kalau ada progress in my project in the morning, I might go to the city after lunch to treat myself. Sbnrnya agak jemu dah dgn Liverpool city ni, tapi nak buat camna, ni lah antara cara menghiburkan diri di sini. Tengok perkataan SALE pun dah terhibur. Oh yer, maybe boleh tengok Harry Potter kat wayang.

P/s: Aku ada kelima-lima DVD Harry Potter yg dibeli di sini. Aku bukannya minat sgt Harry Potter ni. Yg ke-5 tu pun aku miss tgk kat wayang. Of course lah ori, mana nak dpt yg baik-punya kat sini. I know the DVD sold here is region 2, so might be incompatible with my home theater. Takpe, boleh layan guna laptop. Nampak sgt aku boring kat sini kan. Heheee.

Robot yang boleh bertukar, raksasa & makhluk asing... mana satu idaman hati?

Transformers 2 release kat UK Jumaat lepas & aku dah tengok pada hari yg sama. Ada member aku suka movie ni, tapi ada gak yg tak suka. So, it's hard to predict whether you'll like it or not. For me, I enjoy watching this movie as much as I enjoy watching Wolverine. Kira memang enjoy gila lah. It's far better than the 1st one. It isn't just an action movie. Some parts are really funny. Cute as well.

Well, ada gak part yg aku kureng suka. Tapi overall, aku suka lah. Best! Tak rugi tengok.

Even there is Optimus Prime in my home.

Aku dah lama teringin nak tengok movie in 3D (check this post). Akhirnya tercapai gak masa spring break yg lalu (la ni baru nak citer). I watched Monsters vs Aliens in 3D & it was awesome!

We could see certain objects pop out from the screen. It's like you can actually touch it. The movie itself is good. Ni yang buat tak sabar nak tengok Ice Age 3 & Final Destination 4, both in 3D.

Ice Age is my favorite animation, so harus lah tengok. Watching in 3D is a bonus. Final Destination plak, just imagine kereta terpelanting in 3D... tak pun kepala terpelanting ke... betul2 depan mata. Huhuuu, must be exciting. Harap2 dapat lah tgk. Walaupun ada kemungkinan aku tengok celah2 jari je.

P/s: Antara 3 objek di atas, aku rasa robot yang boleh bertukar paling kool kot.

Isnin, April 27:
- Hantar asg terakhir IC. Yay! Berakhir satu penderitaan. No more Cadence. No more drawing layout unless I get paid for it.

Spring break terpaksa dikorbankan utk menyiapkan asg ni.

JK flip-flop = 38 transistor. Buruk giler aku lukis layout ni. Tak koser nak lukis semula. Tu belum lagi tgk layout counter aku yg mengandungi 176 transistor. Bayangkan jer lah kehodohannya.

- Mula buat asg Digital System. Looks like the lab hours that have been spent doing IC now been replaced with doing Verilog.

Rabu, April 29:
- Complete the lab work for Microprocessor. Tinggal siapkan report jer.

Neat? Not enough. Ada yg litar dia lg kemas drp ni. Sungguh berseni jari jemari menyambung jumper.

- "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" release hari ni. Work without play doesn't pay. Take a break. Beli roti di Sansbury & makan sbg lunch dlm wayang. Great movie. Aku suka. Rugi kalau tak tengok! D, gi ajak Ayoi tgk k. Aku rasa best sgt mungkin sbb aku skeptikal sblm tgk. Ingatkan mcm X-Men yg sblm2 ni. Tak pun sbb dpt peluang release tension.

Selasa, May 5:
- Digital Systems class test. Actually aku cuma baca 1 handout jer utk test ni, tu pun sebelum tido. 10%, rasa mcm tak berbaloi nak study bersungguh2 sdgkn byk lg benda lain nak baca utk exam. Hasilnya 1 soalan aku tak dpt jwb langsung... hmmm hilang 2 markah. Yg lain tu tak tentu lg lah.

- Siap Executive Summary. Submit to proofreading website. Asg ni under subjek research skills, jadi BI yg baik amat dititikberatkan. Bagus website ni, aku puas hati lah dgn hasil pembetulan depa. GBP6.00 utk 1000 patah perkataan.

Rabu, May 6:
- Hantar report Microprocessor. Yay! 2 down, 2 to go.

Khamis, May 7:
- Hantar Executive Summary. Yay! 3 down, just 1 to go.

- Ada kelas dr 9 - 10am. Habis kelas pukul 10 sampai 5 ptg, duduk kt lab, siapkn asg utk Digital System. Tekad mcm mana pun hari ni akan save whatever waveform yg dpt kat oscillocope & proceed with the report. Datang period lah plak, sakit belakang dibuatnya. Dah lah mlm tadi tak brp boleh tido.

- Balik bilik, makan cereal sbg alas perut & terus tido.

- Pukul 8pm start buat report. Tido pukul 5 pagi. Gigih siapkan report sbb due date esok. Kerana kesibukan exam yg akan bermula minggu depan, ramai student yg abaikn asg ni atau plan anta lmbt. 15% melayang klu tak anta, 5% per day akan dipotong klu anta lmbt. No exam for this module. Kalau ikut hati, aku pun rasa taknak buat asg ni sbb mmg takde masa nak pikir lebih2, design ke, apa ke. Nasib baik lah lecturer module ni supervisor aku. Nak jaga reputasi punya pasal, terpaksa lah gigihkn diri buat jugak. Tu pun aku buat seringkasnya, janji siap... kira basic system je.

Jumaat, May 8:
- 9:30am bangun pagi, tambah yg mana patut dlm report. Pukul 11:30am, gi hantar. YAY! The last asg. Phew... rasa ringan sgt dah takde beban asg. Sebab excited sgt nak hantar asg terakhir ni, lupa plak ada kelas terakhir pukul 1. Nak balik bilik malas. Lepak kat Costa, minum Mocha. Dalam kelas, mintak kertas & pinjam pen drp member. Kelas 1 jam, jd almost 2 jam. Tu pun tak sempat nak cover semua soalan past year exams.

Sabtu, May 9:
- No more asg. Seriously, rasa best sgt. Sekarang boleh tumpukan sepenuh masa untuk exam. Hari ni 11am - 4pm & 8 - 10:30pm lepak kat library. Byknya benda nak hafal. Takpe, 2 minggu jer camni.

Aku pada hari ini, di luar accommodation hall, sebelum gi library dgn semangat utk belajar yg membuak-buak :-P. Shrug kaler hitam tu aku beli kat eBay minggu lepas. Masa mula2 dpt aku mcm tak puas hati sbb material dia nipis sgt. Tapi bila pakai, rasa selesa. So mlm tadi aku beli lagi, kaler putih plak.

See ya next 2 weeks ok. Nantikan bermulanya episod baru aku sbg pelajar.

Perjuangan yang belum atau takkan selesai?

Masa untuk bersenang lenang secara rasminya telah tamat. Periksa oi minggu depan. Ko ingat sikit nak baca, nak kene hafal lg. Udah2 ler tu dok melangok, carik mood nak belajar... belajar ni mmg takkan ada mood. Ko sendiri kene start, mood tu takkan dtg sendiri. Jangan last minute, baru nak start, pastu menyesal. Ha, lebih kurang camni lah gayanya tiap2 hari since Isnin lepas aku dok bebel diri sendiri.

Ini lah rupa meja study aku. Biasanya aku end up study atas katil... haha.

Aku patut bersyukur. Aku hanya bergelut untuk menghadapi peperiksaan tp penduduk Palestin khasnya di Gaza bergelut utk survive. Bila lah agaknya dunia ni nak aman yer.

Aku bukanlah jenis yg amik tau sgt isu semasa ni. So, nak cerita lebih pun takde modal. Tp aku mmg ingat tarikh serangan rejim zionis ke atas Gaza 27hb Disember sbb hari tu hari ke-2 aku di Milan, Itali. Malam tu aku tgk ada demonstrasi kt Piazza Del Duomo. Sempat amik video. Kira ni lah pertama kali aku tgk demostrasi mcm ni secara live.

"Selamatkan Palestin!" Mungkin itu yg mereka laungkan ttp dlm bahasa Itali.

Spt biasa AS menyokong tindakan rejim zionis. Aku teringat salah satu novel by Sidney Sheldon. Perang ni membawa keuntungan kpd sesetgh pihak. Pihak ni amat berkuasa & gila. Gila tu aku tambah sebab hanya org yg tak waras yg sanggup biarkan peperangan berlaku & melihat kematian/kemusnahan. Wlupun ianya novel fiksyen, aku percaya teori tersebut. Sebab tu lah perang takkan tamat walaupun mereka mampu menamatkannya.

Walaupun aku pesimis, aku percaya utopia tidak mustahil. If only all of us could change for a better world & happiness for everyone. Oh yer, aku mungkin tergolong dlm kelompok kecil yg suka movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still". I really enjoyed watching it.

Ok lah dalam 15 minit lagi, aku akan berbuka puasa. Yay, tinggal 3 hari utk diganti. Makanan pun dah siap dimasak. Seperti biasa, nasi goreng... hehee.

Takde mood nak masak sbnrnya sbb pagi tadi dpt reminder from hall manager berkenaan dgn kebersihan di rumah no 8 ini. Walaupun bukan aku yg buat kotor tp agak memalukan tinggal bersama dgn si pengotor & tentunya dituduh sekali. Tak tau lah bila si pengotor itu nak insaf. So, kene gak masak. Hidup perlu diteruskan, perut perlu diisi. Ayat ini tentu membawa definisi yg mendalam kepada mereka di bumi Palestin.

Aku hanya mampu berdoa semoga kita semua umat Islam dilindungi Allah swt. Amin.

Layan movie @ YouTube

Saya tgh byk masa skrg ni, sebab tu tetiba rajin plak update blog.

Weekend lepas, saya meluangkan masa layan 4 filem Melayu di YouTube sambil buat assignment. Ketika tu saya rasa sungguh enjoy sekali buat assignment. Tak tido pun takpe. Tapi hasilnya bila saya baca balik, memang tunggang langgang assignment tu. Tapi kira ok lah, drp tak buat langsung kan. Good job, saya kata pada diri sendiri.

Balik kepada cite Melayu yg saya layan tu, saya layan cite Dun*ia Baru The Movie, I'm Not Sin*gle, Se*pi dan Ka*yangan. Kesian saya, pas tgk cite2 tu nak lah komen kan, tp tak tau nak komen kat sape... pendam jer lah. Ni baru ada masa nak komen kat blog.


1. D*unia Baru The Movie

Menghiburkan, cukup ringan. Pelakon2 dia pun selamba & bersahaja. El*yana pandai berlakon. Antara sebab saya rasa berlakon ni senang... sesape pun boleh berlakon.


2. I'm Not S*ingle

Citer ni pun ringan gak, amat sesuai ditonton sambil buat assignment. Saya tak teringin langsung nak tgk citer ni kt wayang. Memang tak best pun. Saya tak feel langsung. Saya tak nampak mcm mana cinta antara hero & heroin boleh wujud except atas ikatan perkahwinan tu sendiri.

Satu lagi, saya tak suka lakonan si heroin. Pandangan mata dia saya rasa tak fokus la. Saya rasa dia berlakon... memang lah dia berlakon kan. Saya rasa lakonan dia tak real. Tapi tak silap saya dia ada menang anugerah kan, Pelakon Harapan, something like that lah.

Oh yer, part salesman jual ubat tu, saya rasa tak lawak... kesian ada lah. Kesian krn lawak yg tak menjadi.


3. Se*pi

Wow! Mengkagumkan. Serius, saya suka cerita ni. Tangan saya tidak mampu menaip assignment ketika menonton cerita ni, walaupun sekadar di YouTube. Begitu kemas & cantik sekali ceritanya.

Saya suka semua watak, malah watak Suzi (? rasanya lah) yg gedik tu pun saya suka. Saya suka krn saya rasa mereka semua tulus dlm cinta... cewah.

Saya suka part Adam cakap kat adik dia, "Dia sayang abang" merujuk kpd Suzi yg baru sampai dgn gediknya. Simple statement yet besar maknanya. Tapi akhirnya kita akan pilih org yg kita syng, lagi2 bila kita tau org tu pun syng kat kita gak. Selfish, but that's the right thing to do.

Kisah Sufi plak mungkin ramai yg tak paham & tak boleh terima. Mungkin meraka bersalah kerana jatuh cinta, tapi rasanya mereka telah menghukum diri sendiri dgn memilih utk tidak bersama & juga telah menerima hukuman kerana tidak dapat bersama hingga ke akhirnya... oopsss spoiler. Unselfish, still the right thing to do.

Akhir sekali kisah Imaan. Kita lupakan kisah rambut palsunya yg kejung. Saya terpikir adakah kehilangan seseorg hanya boleh diubati dgn kehadiran seseorg juga?? Tu yg menariknya citer ni, membuatkan saya berfikir.

Saya tak menangis ye menonton citer ni. Cuma rasa sayu menonton anak Sufi menyiapkan sarapan pagi sendiri. Walaupun tiada air mata yg mengalir, citer ni tetap best bg saya. Saya rasa mesejnya sampai - "Cinta tak datang hanya sekali".

Rasa mcm nak tgk lagi citer ni.


4. Kay*angan

Satu lg percubaan untuk distract diri sendiri. Saya paham knp filem ni tak leh jual kat wayang. Rasa spt menonton cerekarama. Tapi cerita ni tak lah teruk sgt. Cuma terlalu biasa. Mungkin akan rasa rugi klu tgk wayang... tp tgk free kat YouTube, buang masa pun rasa berbaloi gak lah.


That's all. Selamat bercuti... hahaha... kepada diri sendiri.

Bowling Olympics?

Perlawanan bowling ini telah diadakan pada hari Selasa, 19 Ogos iaitu semalam, malangnya bukan di Beijing ttp hanya di Mines Shopping Fair... dari segi design bangunan lebih kurang lah kan mcm kat China.

4th - Ayap... hanya ketinggalan 1 mata di belakang Ijat.

Last a.k.a juara masuk longkang - Dil... the youngest, tangan masih terlalu keras.

Next time, klu ada rezeki kita main lg yek. Agaknya bila la tu. Yg ni pun aku gamble je bwk 5 org budak dlm 1 kete, maknanya 4 org dok belakang. Tak sampai hati plak nak tinggalkn yg paling kecik... wlupun muda compare to others, dia pun ada perasaan gak kan. Aku pk klu tetiba ada road block & polis nak saman semata2 4 budak kat belakang, aku suruh jer yg paling kecik tu kuar... mintak polis tu anta balik... mau meraung budak tu. Masa tu pandai2 lah polis tu nak pujuk.

Pas main bowling, xtvt shopping. Pkul 1.45pm, tgk wayang, citer Wallllllllllll Eeeee.

La ni aku takde mood nak buat review filem. Before this tgk cite Dark Night & SATC: The Movie pun takde mood nak review. Bukannya movie2 ni tak best atau tak berkesan.

Eh, tetiba ada mood plak nak buat review filem. Wall-E - cite ni amat sesuai ditayangkan pada Hari Bumi sebagai tayangan amal. Filem yg amat bermesej. Tak cukup kelakar... membuatkan aku tak sabar2 nak tgk Ice Age 3. Silap aku gak... entered the cinema with high expectation based on reviews at CinemaOnline. 3 bintang.

Dark Night - "Why so serious?" soalan Joker yg mendebarkn. Aku takut dia toreh mulut org tu dgn pisau je. Filem ni berjaya buat aku tak senang duduk. Cuma lupa-dah-nama-dia jadi Two-Faced quite lame la. 4 bintang.

SATC: The Movie - drama or chick flick yg kira best gak lah. ~180 minit yg tidak membosankan. Bergenang gak air mata tgk the gentle Charlotte yelled at Mr. Big for Carrie's sake & how Miranda struggled to mend her marriage. Tp knp yek Miranda's marriage problem mcm tak besar jer berbanding masalah Carrie? Is't the disadvantage of being independent for Miranda & advantage for being dependent for Carrie? I don't expect any answer, just something to ponder. 3 1/2 bintang... errr... 4 bintang. Between that la.

Ok, back to the original topic, pas tgk wayang, continue shopping. Inilah xtvt cuti sekolah urban style... spend dlm shopping complex je.

Btw, hebat budak2 ni shopping. Sampai lunch pun tak sempat. Kepenatan Ucu tau! (Refer to previous post.) Tapi takde lah tunjuk depan depa yg aku penat, maintain je la. Ucu ni muda lagi ;-). Sib baik lah kasut Crocs ni mmg selesa... not super-comfortable though, just comfortable. Sama je mcm kasut2 jalan aku sblm ni.

Apa2 pun... budak2 tu seronok, aku pun seronok. Tired, yet it was fun!

Hari yg ditunggu spjg minggu ini... yeay, it's FRIDAY!

Tak tau lah napa, minggu ni rasa macam tak cukup tido. Every morning I wake up, I wish I could get back to sleep & just wake up whenever I feel like to. But still, I managed to get up, go to work & stay at the office from 8 to 5. At last, esok cuti! Yeehaaaa!!!

Well, it has been an ordinary weekdays. D is away for another site visit on Monday. On Tuesday, me, Shelly & Saira went to Alamanda right after office hour to watch "Hancock" at 5:50pm & had dinner at Sushi King. We ate, chatted & laughed. It was fun. We even got 10% discount at Sushi King, well... that's nothing if you're a member & your card's not expired... but Shelly's card's already expired & Saira didn't bring hers... so, that's something ;-).

Btw, "Hancock" is a great funny movie. I give it 4 stars. Tp ramai gak yg tak suka citer ni. I think those who don't like the movie actually lack sense of humor :-P. Ok, there are many illogical things in the movie, we don't even know the Hancock's real name but it's funny & entertaining... even the scene where Hancock in a group therapy session is funny. I like Will Smith's performance as Hancock & no one is more suitable to play the main actress character than the beautiful Charlize Theron.

On Wednesday, I slept early which was at 10:30pm. There's no new CSI Las Vegas to watch, so I guess I better sleep earlier & be fresher the next morning. I did feel a lil bit fresher on Thursday morning. After getting back from work, I watched SATC Season 4 & tried to finish it. I did.

I planned to renew my passport on Friday & start applying visa online. Since it takes only several hours which is 2 hours to be exact to get the new passport, so I thought it'd be the best if I go to Immigration Dept at Putrajaya where I can go home while waiting for the passport to be renewed. At ~12:00pm, I arrived at the Immigration Dept & I could feel something wasn't right... so, I went directly to the counter & asked whether it's applicable to renew the passport there. The answer is no. The nearest branch to renew the passport is Kajang which I already knew. So, my plan had failed, I drove home & took a nap for about 1 & 1/2 hours.

Well, I'll go to Kajang this Monday & renew my passport. I have registered for online visa application... so many questions... why do you choose UK, why do you choose the course, the institution, how it will benefit you, what do you plan to do afterwards, hours per week of your course (which I don't have the information)... bla, bla, bla... I hate fill in the form even a simple one but I'll try my best to finish completing this form by next week.

Oh yea, before I went to Putrajaya to renew my passport, Catz had sent chocolate cake to our office. Tarra......

It's delicious & well decorated I'd say. The recipe is here. 5 stars for your home-made chocolate cake, Catz. TQ! Tapi aku makan cikit je... :-(

Actually, I planned to watch "Journey To The Center Of The Earth 3D" which is only available at GSC MidValley (the only that I'm aware of) with Saira & Shelly on Saturday but since I couldn't reserved the tixs, I guess the plan has to be canceled. I can purchase the tixs online, there are many empty seats as I checked it on Thursday but since the tix is quite expensive which is RM17 including the 3D glasses & I myself can't confirm my availability & mood to go to MidValley tomorrow, so purchasing the tixs isn't wise.

Ok, that's it for my weekdays this week. Thank God it's Friday! :-D

Wanted

One word that I could use to describe the movie - melampau. Kehebatan yg melampau, adegan kejar-mengejar & tembak-menembak yg melampau tetapi keganasan yg tidak melampau. Ye, wlupun kategori 18SG, seingat aku citer ni tak lah ganas sgt. One of the reason I had decided to watch this movie instead of "Hancock" sebab rasa mcm dah boring tgk citer superhero (tp ada hati gak nak tgk... anyone?), selain dr sebab lain yg dinyatakn di dlm post sebelum ini. Wlupun, "Wanted" isn't a superhero-kinda-movie, but still the Fraternity killers are like superheroes except that they cannot fly & not super-strong. Mmg hebat... bayangkn they manage to shoot where the bullet curves through the air & hit a target behind an object. Or... could we actually possibly do that???

Satu lagi aksi yg aku rasa melampau ialah aksi keretapi jatuh masuk gaung. Byk tu nyawa terkorban. Why must create such a disaster only to kill 1 person? Sungguh melampau. Other thing yg aku rasa kurang ok beside the 'melampau' thingys is the scenes where the bullet moving in a slow-motion... alah... mcm cite The Matrix tu. I think it's cliche already. This is what I think lah... but if the bullet's not moving in a slow-motion, maybe the message cannot be delivered. Tak nampak lah kan mcm mana peluru tu terbang dgn hebatnya.

Untuk citer ni aku bg 3.5 bintang. D gave only 2.5... dia mmg suka bg rendah... so the average from us both is 3 stars. But still I'm not frustrated & the movie is entertaining enough especially for those action movie fans. I had expected an action movie, & it's an action movie indeed, so kira ok lah. This kind of action movie, for me memang sesuai tgk kat wayang... baru lah feel aksi2 tu.

Sejak GSC bukak kat Alamanda, aku jd rajin plak tgk wayang. Luckily the cinema is GSC which I can purchase the ticket online. No need to collect the tickets 45 minutes before showtime or earlier. Sampai kat wayang ngam2 bila citer nak start, collect the tickets, beratur beli makanan (nasib baik tang ni tak ada service to purchase online) & off to enter the hall. Tp yang tak bestnya bila reservation counter tak bukak, kita pun terpaksalah potong queue next to the counter, orang yg tgh beratur tu mcm pndg slack (or slag?) jer... well, 1stly that's a privilege of reserving tickets & 2ndly, which is most importantly for me, I've already paid the tickets, extra RM1 lagi tau. So, tak yah lah nak jeling semacam k. Kecik hati aku. Hikss... start dah lari tajuk...
