@Delft
I didn't take many pictures... except for the pictures of equipments.
Presentation by Russian on Tuesday...

Each country had to present. Mine was on Monday. There were 17 countries altogether. There were supposed to be 19 but participants from Syria & China couldn't make it. Among the 17 countries, there were 5 other Muslims which were from Algeria, Egypt, Bangladesh, Indonesia & Morocco. Only 2 ladies including me, the other was Canadian.
The hotel...

The rate is ~€80 for a single bedroom. There's no mini bar & aircond. Quite expensive actually. It's summer. Luckily it's not hot. The temperature is ~19°C. So I just keep the window open. It takes 30 minutes (power) walk to the meeting place, yet it's the nearest I think. So all the participants stayes here except the one from Netherlands of course.
The city...

Not so busy & not so many famous label stores. ~15 minutes walk from the hotel. There are canals of course as Netherlands is famous with the canals. It has so many indeed.

The Reality Hurts More
I'm in Holland, alone, for business purpose, no family or friend.
I felt the pain, but stayed in the meeting patiently. When I saw the heavy flow of bleeding I knew that it was coming. Then I decided to join the visit to the reactor facility. I thought I was ready.
Right after we finished visiting the reactor, I felt something came out. I felt warm & the pain subsided somehow.
I went to the toilet to check. As I had expected, a clot as big as my thumb was there. I thought it was a blood clot, but it wasn't. It was harder. It was more like meat.
In the meeting I tried hard to compose myself. It was a very challenging moment for me.
In my room, I couldn't help myself but cried my heart out. I just had miscarriage.
Here, alone in Holland, I'm feeling devastated. I'm mentally ready indeed for the misfortune. But now I learn, the reality actually hurts more.
Allah knows best. Everything happens for a reason. I relent.

A Meaningful Ramadhan
I haven't write anything about this year Ramadhan. It's special because unlike the previous years, this year we have Honey.
Tahun ni JD bertugas beli makanan since I had to pick up Honey before 5:30pm. So from the office, sharp at 5 or just a few minutes after I'd punch out & went to the nursery. JD would arrive at home ~6:30 & he'd take over taking care of Honey while I cooked the rice in the kitchen. Pastu, I'd feed Honey with solid food & JD went upstairs to have a bath. ~7, I'd try putting Honey to sleep. The 1st 2 weeks of Ramadhan, most of the days, Honey was sleeping while we had our iftar. Kalau Honey tak tido, we'd put her in a walker which I just bought on the 2nd week of Ramadhan.
Yup actually there was nothing special but it was a new experience for us. Yelah, lama dah berdua kot, now bertiga plak. To be honest, for me I felt more tired. Tapi penat2 pun kene gak melayan si budak kecil. Tu yang decide nak beli walker tu walaupun research says it's not safe for baby. Tapi kalau dibiarkan dia explore rumah on her 2 feet & 2 hands pun bahaya gak. I think the keyword is monitoring.

Ok back to the topic apa beza Ramadhan tahun ini. Thanx to my gorgeous group of friends. Saling nasihat-menasihati & motivate each other to be a better Muslim & take full benefit of Ramadhan.

There was a time, rasa tak larat & kalau ada alasan such as bermusafir, memang dah berbuka sedangkan duduk rumah aje jaga si kecil.
Rupa2nya...

الحمدلله a gift from Allah in a month full of barakah.
Today is 29th of Ramadhan 1433. انشاءالله will be the last day of Ramadhan. It's such a meaningful Ramadhan indeed.

Mood Raya: Off
Makin nak raya, makin kurang plak mood beraya. So kene pastikan semua cukup sebelum cuti raya. Benda yang nak kene print, kene print siap2. Camna nak gi hotel daripada airport, kene kaji. Tetiba boleh terasa sayu plak bila dengar lagu raya sebab semua orang dah takde mood keje, mood raya dah on, aku masih bekerja bersungguh2. Ok, tak baik merungut. Dah ni lah mata pencarian, redha je lah.
Pastu rumah nak kene kemas. Haihhh kalau tak memikirkan my PIL nak datang tolong jaga Honey semasa ketiadaan aku nanti, memang tak ingin kemas rumah. Sib baik ruang tamu JD dah settlekan. But still baju belum berlipat, meja belum dilap & yang paling utama sekali dapur belum dibersihkan. Sounds like a lot of works to me. Langsir pun belum cuci.
Dah tau keje banyak, sibuk tulis blog. Err tapi kalau dah malam gini baik beribadat lagi2 malam2 terakhir Ramadhan ni. Tak pun, tido :P

I'm 10 Months Old!
Huhuu... my daughter Honey has became a big baby.
Masih belum pandai berdiri sendiri & berjalan. Tumbuh gigi pun belum. Mulut bising ikut mood. Tapi belum lagi sebut Mama & Papa. It's ok, take your time Honey. Yang penting she's a healthy & active baby.

Dah tak tau apa nak explore kat ruang tamu ni...

Kat umah Nenek. Cute tak saya?

Tido setelah tahan mata.

Just A Note
Hari ini rasanya begitu istimewa sekali.
Iskk tak tau plak macam mana nak cerita. But sure I feel so blessed. Masa awal Ramadhan dulu ada niat nak list down the things that I should be grateful for so that I'll always be grateful. Rezeki, kesihatan yang baik, orang2 yang tersayang maybe sound too common but it is indeed a blessing to have those.
Of course bila dah ada anak ni, tak yah susah2 nak rasa diri bertuah... tengok muka anak je & I know that I've been blessed. More reasons to be grateful. At the same time, rasa dirahmati juga kerana dapat anak lambat. I learn a lot from the experience. More important things I learn to be more stronger, humble & grateful. So to those yang masih trying to conceive, jangan plak rasa tak dirahmati. It's tough especially for a bit control freak like me tapi percayalah ada hikmah. Dekat kan diri dengan Allah & you'll find the strength to not giving up. Ohh panjang lagi ceritanya kalau nak teruskan topik ni.
Bear with me, I can feel that PMS is striking rite now.
Let's back to the original topic. Hari ni kumpulan tadarus aku khatam Quran. Terasa syukur, teruja, gembira masa khatam tu. I feel truly blessed.
The project proposal that I had submitted in May had been approved. Alhamdulillah. Ni pun ada cerita di sebaliknya. Betapa pada suatu ketika aku bengang gila bila dapat tahu the proposal won't be submitted to ministry directly but had to be screened 1st by the internal committee. Sedangkan masa tu konon dah target nak start projek (kalau dapat) pertengahan tahun ni. Nak buat camna, bengang pun tak guna kalau dah itu prosedurnya. So I took the chance to correct & refine my proposal based on the committee comments & previous proposals. Moreover we're kinda busy rite now. Nasib baik ubah start projek tahun depan.
A note to myself.

Teman Mama Shopping Tudung
Nak raya ni, Mama sibuk shopping tudung. Asyik2 tudung. Tempat favorite Mama beli tudung adalah pasar malam. Tapi Honey tak penah ikut Mama pegi pasar malam. Honey tinggal kat rumah, Nenek & Mak Mok jaga. Ni lah baru Mama bawak Honey jalan2 cari tudung. Bukan Mama je yang cari, Honey pun nak jugak. Nak yang mana 1 yek...

P/s: Terasa cepat masa berlalu. Dah 10 malam Ramadhan yang terakhir pun dah. Sama2 lah kita mempertingkatkan amal ibadat.

Packing For The Day Care
I'll be away on the 2nd week of raya. That's mean JD will be fully in charged of taking care Honey. It'll include packing Honey's stuff to bring to the day care. He never done it before. Unlike some parents who choose to leave several clothes, formula milk (FM), feeding bottle etc at the day care, I on the other hand prefer packing the stuff everyday. So everyday I'll refill the FM dispenser, wash the feeding bottle & pack those, clothes & disposable diapers into Honey's diaper bag.
As for the FM, I prefer to use a dispenser rather than keep it in a container & let the teachers scoop the milk out. I guess it's more hygenic. I've tried a few types of FM dispenser & my favorite is this... the cow shape makes it easy to dispense the FM.

Honey's is orange in color.
So here's a check list for JD. He has to ensure all these stuff are in the bag.
- FM (3 scoops (6oz) x4)
- Feeding bottle
- Disposable diapers x3
- Clothes x4 (usually 2 rompers, 1 short sleeves pajama & 1 long sleeves pajama)
- Napkin
- Soother
- Wet wipes
- Baby oil
- Baby powder
Not just JD has to ensure that all the necessary stuff are in the bag before sending Honey to the day care, he has to bathe Honey beforehand. Usually Honey'll wear a pair of top & 3/4 pants after having bath.
Actually on the 1st day of the week, we also have to pack a towel, but I guess I'll put the towel siap2 in the bag before leaving. As for the food, baby cereal the only thing that I leave at the day care. However, I also pack a bowl & spoon but somehow I think they don't use them. But if they want to, the bowl & spoon are always in the bag.
