Talking About Me & Myself

Lately saya rasa saya terlalu rancak berbelanja. Awning di porch dah siap dipasang. Kosnya mencecah beribu2 RM kerana ditambah lapisan PU bagi menyerap haba & bunyi. Semalam kami telah ke kedai perabot untuk membeli kerusi untuk diletakkan di porch. We ended up buying a double sitter sofa worth RM950.

Jadi cukup2 lah berbelanja. Niat untuk buka wardrobe baru terpaksa ditunda. Pakai je lah apa yang ada. :(

Btw, last week had been a hectic week for Honey & us. Nak juga cerita pasal Honey. I might sound like I'm obsessed with my lil Honey, kalau ya pun tak salah kan... anak sendiri, sorang lak tu. But actually I'm not. I only talk/write about Honey frequently here, terpulanglah kalau ada yang nak membaca. Takde lah setiap kali berbual, mesti nak cerita pasal Honey. Kalau camtu, mau naik kematu telinga yang terpaksa mendengar benda yang sama hampir setiap hari.

Just now, JD interrupted me by asking about Masterchef~Celebriti yang sedang ditayangkan...
JD: Masterchef ni start bila sebenarnya?
Me: Hari Sabtu.
JD: Apasal kita tak tengok semalam?
Me: Kita tengok lah semalam, yang diorang masak ikan haruan tu.

Pastu JD macam tak puas hati dengan jawapan aku.
JD: Sape terkeluar yang ni?
Me: Mana tau lagi... ni yang latest.
JD: Ohh... kalau camtu setiap hari Ahad lah.
Me: Bukan... cerita ni hari Sabtu, Ahad, Isnin, Selasa... 4x seminggu (actually aku pun tak sure, tapi yang pasti lebih dari sehari lah seminggu.)
JD: Ohh... patut lah, ingat sekali seminggu.
Me: (Patut lah macam tak paham2.)
Ini namanya minor miscommunication. ;)

Pada aku Masterchef~Malaysia so far, whether for celebrity or non-celebrity adalah tak berapa best compare to Masterchef~US or Australia. Tu yang sambil tengok, main henpon, update blog. Rekod pun tak.

Ok lah, nak pack barang Honey ke taska esok...

A common factor

I just watched 'Are~You~Smarter Than A 5th~Grader'...

I thought it's just me who do not agree that number 1 should be considered as a common factor. So what did I do? I googled & found out here, I'm not alone.

Yup, I'm that emotional these days :D. Kinda pissed off to know that our (mine & the contestant) answer is wrong. A question worth 1 million tu. Macam aku punya duit lak :P.

Actually, I did remember number 1 when I answered the question but somehow something tell me to dismiss the number. But I guess I was just confused with prime numbers & common factors. 1 is not a prime number but it's a common factor alrite which still I'm not agreed with. Degil.

Be, & it is...

It has been raining all day. I feel like munching something now. Maybe due to the cold weather, my stomach seems to be empty. However, since I rarely feel this way, I have nothing to munch here at my home. No biscuits or whatsoever. So, to distract myself, here I am, typing something for my blog.

"For me, my thing is my whole life I work very hard for everything & I succeed because I really put my mind into it. I work day & night, I'd do whatever it takes to win & I try to be a winner. This is something I can't win, you know & I just don't understand. I don't know. I just don't understand why it hasn't happen for us..."
- Giuliana in Giuliana&Bill S3E4

I don't follow the show but now & then I happen to watch it like last nite. I understand how she feels. Yes, there are things in this life that we could (simply) achieve if we work very hard like getting a degree, climbing a hill, running in a marathon, traveling around the world & shedding a few kilos. However, for this one thing, hard work & determination or even money are not the key to make it happen.

Luckily, as a Muslim I believe that life & death are Allah's affairs. Some things are just beyond our control. It'll only happen solely with Allah's will no matter how healthy & normal we are or how many efforts we put into it. It's not like driving a car to our desired destination where we ourselves could steer the car following the route that we have planned to take. Even so, still we arrive safely at our destination with Allah's will.
"And Allah has full power and control over His Affairs..."
(Qur'an 12: 21)
So, just be grateful as for every trial, there will be reward for those who are patient. :)
"Peace be upon you for that you persevered in patience!"
(Qur'an: 13: 24)

I just remember that I have a box of Coco~Crunch in the kitchen cabinet.

Feel like I have a good instinct now...

...that If I buy a lottery ticket, I might win a jackpot! :P

Tak sangka tekaan aku tepat untuk Vokal~Terbaik & Lagu~Terbaik. Actually I don't have a favorite song for this year A.J.L, but as I said to my sis on Saturday, if I have to pick one, I'll pick Ana~Rafali's song. I think the song is soothing. For the Best Vocal, I picked Hafiz cos I think he had done a good job in delivering the song based on what I've listened on the radio.

I have to admit that AR's performance sucked though. What a waste, such a beautiful song was overshadowed by an over-dramatic performance. I had informed JD about my pick before the show. So after the sucked performance, JD condemned my pick. Sabar je lah. Takpe, saje suka-suka teka. Not that the result will affect my life.

Actually I know nothing about the lyric, I'm only attracted to the melody. I don't have the mp3, not even any of the songs in the final. Dah tua ni (sedar diri), I hardly update my mp3 player. Fortunately, we have internet. So, just search & enjoy.

Banned!

Finally... I just finished watching 'Witch Yoo Hee'. Note to myself - no more Korean drama series. Need a lot of patience. Somehow the so called witch, Yoo Hee, I think is nicer & kinder than I am. So kind indeed. Fine, as we can easily predict from this kind of series, the hero & heroin would be together at the end. It's an expected ending for what we call a happy ending. Yes, it applies to this series as well. Oppsss, spoiler. However, I'm not happy. Somehow, the last episode is the worst episode of all. Hence, I don't even care whether they would end up together or not. In brief, whatever. What a waste of time. 16 episodes... means about 16 hours! So yes, no more Korean drama series.

Btw, the series that I previously watched - 'You're beautiful', not as bad as this drama series. However, I started feeling bored in the middle of the series which is episode 7 or 8 & I was off the hook. I have to admit that a love story's not my cup of tea. So in order not to be biased, I have to give credit to the series for being such a cute series with a series of cute actors.

I never follow any Korean series before even the famous 'Winter~Sonata' or 'Autumn~In~My~Heart'. Well, that's it. 2 are enough. Ok stop sounding emotional :P.

Let's layan the OST...

Nak update, tapi...

... tetiba rasa mengantuk. Jam baru menunjukkan pukul 10. Awal lagi kalau nak tido. TV telah dikuasai oleh JD. WC lah, apa lagi. Aku memang tak minat dah nak tengok. As I said before, my favorite team is losing. I'm not the type yg boleh pick mana2 team for every game. Takde feel. :P (Memang tak minat bola, banyak cakap plak.)

So mari teruskan cubaan untuk meng'update'. Tengah ada idea nak update ni, tapi gambar, yakni kamera & thumbdrive ada kat atas. Kene update bergambar, sebab edit gambar boleh hilangkan mengantuk sikit sebab kagum dengan skill sendiri mengambil gambar. Malas lah nak naik atas (so stop wondering kenapa tak kurus2).

Ha! Lately aku suka tengok drama Jepun. About 2 weeks ago, I watched "My Boss My Hero".

Last weekend plak, I watched "Mei-chan No Shitsuji".

Both are 10 episodes each. Dua2 best. Tu yang melekat tu. Tapi drama Jepun yg aku tengok ni tak lah mcm drama Korea "Winter Sonata". Bukan jenis drama cinta yang tangkap leleh, ala2 tahap cinta agung. Aku tak minat drama macam tu. Drama yang aku tengok ni in fact very comical. Orang tiba2 boleh muncul kat sebelah, aksi ganas semata2 kerana secawan puding... ringkasnya jalan cerita agak gila sedikit (or banyak? *garu kepala*). Tapi mesej yang hendak disampaikan amat baik.

MBMH menerapkan betapa pentingnya ke sekolah. Wlupun mafia/gangster, kene pandai & untuk menjadi pandai, kene sekolah. MNS plak menceritakan betapa pentingnya ada keazaman (resolution). Jika kita betul2 nak kan sesuatu, we have to fight for it.

Malam tadi actually aku tengok episod 1 "Hana Kimi". Tapi sayang, server slow... so 1 episod tu pun tak abis buffering. Kalau tak, takdenya nak update blog la ni.

Masa tengok drama Jepun ni, I wonder kenapa drama Melayu selalunya serius sangat. Dah lah serius, mesej mcm tak ada je. Balik2 mesej yang sama - percintaan & kekeluargaan. Tapi bila gila, mcm ntahapahapa plak. Eh, tapi drama Ilusi yang tayang kat TV3 waktu petang mcm best aje.

Ok lah, dah panjang dah. Last but not least, France without Zidane is suck.

The sound of WC2010

I'm one of the people who's annoyed with the sound of vuvuzela when watching the WC2010 games. I think without capable of hearing the chanting, cheering, jeering & singing, the games are less interesting.

At first I thought (seriously) the buzzing sound was the sound of a heavy machine that they operate during the WC2010 games which is located near the mic. So the sound was only obvious when we watch the games on TV. Apparently it's a sound of thousands of plastic trumpets!

I have to agree with Hit.ler on this one... :D

Anyhow, I guess I'm not interested to follow/watch WC anymore. The main reason is not due to the sound of plastic horns that fill the stadium though. My favorite team is losing! I could see the chance of moving forward to round of 16 (even there's 1 more game left) shatters into a thousand tiny pieces. Huhuu.

WC vs CSI

Both start at 10.
Both are available in HD. (Yay, now there's AXN HD)
Ok fine, WC 4 tahun sekali... CSI tiap2 minggu ada. Tengok je lah ulangan nanti.
So ini adalah post boring sebab tak tau nak buat apa. Torres tak main so game tak menarik.
Wow wee... tgh taip post ni, tetiba Switzerland gol. Tu lah, sapa suruh tak masukkan Torres.

Tadi chat dgn member kat FB pasal Jepun. Belek Fotopages yg dah lama tinggal sebab cite pasal Jepun dalam tu. Menarik pulak. At least 6 pics were uploaded for every entry.

Eh ok lah, Torres dah masuk.

P/s: I'm not a fan of Torres or Spain. Not even a football fan. ;)

AFHD

Suka tengok baju Adira yg kaler pink. Bahagian atas kain lace & bahagian bawah kain kosong. Teringin nak buat dress mcm ni. Skirt boleh modified jd labuh & buat empire waist utk sorok perut yg muncit. Pastu tangan panjang & besar kt hujung.

Oppsss motif entry bukan nak citer pasal baju Adira. Sbnrnya motif entry nak eksyen sbb tgk Konsert Akhir AF yg buat pertama kalinya dlm HD =P. Tak caya, cuba tgk bhgn atas belah kanan gambar tu... haaa kan ada tulis 'HD'.

Haruslah terang & jelas kan. Bak kata Sarimah, HD ni sesuai utk muka yang bersih berseri2. Muka mcm Adlin tak boleh blah dlm HD. Kene letak concealer lebih.

Semalam, balik dari Kedah tak sabar2 nak sampai rumah sebab nak layan konsert dlm HD. Rupa2nya channel 124 dok ulang konsert akhir ni. Abis, ulang, abis, ulang. Tu je rancangan yg ada.

I tak follow AF tahun ni. Konsert pun biasanya tgk yg ulangan je. So tak kisah sape yg menang. Tapi dalam tak kisah tu, tak suka Shahir menang sbb tak suka afmasuk. Dah lah nyanyi lagu baru mcm mendatar jer. Memang nak kene belasah dgn peminat Shahir ni. Larik...

A Piece of Advice

Christine: Just do it the old fashioned way, eat moderate and exercise. You can’t go wrong with it.

Puasa@UK: Hari 1

UK pun mula posa hari Sabtu. Member aku bgtau ada argument yg kata mula hari Jumaat. Klu Msia raya hari Ahad 20/9 & aku start posa kat sini hari Jumaat, maknanya 31 hari lah aku posa! So aku yakin hari Sabtu. Hiks. Memang hari Sabtu lah.

~2am sahur makan chocolate muffin & burger. Lepas subuh ~4:30am baru tido. Bangun pagi pukul 10, cuci muka, terus kuar ke porter's lodge, check kotak dah sampai ke belum. Tak sampai lagi rupanya. So xtvt packing masih belum bermula.

Pastu surfing internet, surfing internet & akhirnya settle down dgn Big Brother 11 (BB11) kat YouTube. Best gak BB ni... (waktu2 mcm ni mmg semuanya best. Distraction). Macam The Sims. Semua peserta duduk satu rumah.

Sambil tengok BB11, draft ASM chart for the Verilog program. Baru perasan ada yang tak kene & dapat idea mcm mana nak design edge triggering.

Cadangnya nak tido kejap sebab malam nanti stay up lg. Layan BB11 punya pasal, langsung tak tido. Pukul 6:40pm baru terhegeh-hegeh nak mandi. Hehee, bangun pagi td tak mandi pun.

7:15pm kuar gi Tesco beli juice & muffin. Baru terasa penat. Actually tak penat, cuma rasa lemah. Jalan pun separa zombie sambil terbayang juadah buka posa di Msia. Tapi dlm byk2 makanan di Msia, ntah camna aku bleh terbayang nasi goreng sardin.

Member jemput bukak posa kat umah dia. So lepas gi Tesco, terus ke rumah member. Pukul 8:30pm bukak posa. Alhamdulillah, walaupun tak makan nasi, makan bubur & kuih muih jer macam samosa, still kenyang (giler). Rupanya orang Arab ni depa tak bukak posa makan nasi. Eh, tetiba terbayang plak samosa daging tu. Sedap.

Hari ni sahur makan biskut 3 keping jer. Tu pun klu ikutkn tak lah sahur sbb makan ~12am, sambil layan BB11. Ingat nak masak Maggie ker utk sahur, tapi masih kenyang. Kalau tiap2 hari macam ni, mmg pasti menjadi program TBL aku.

Ermm... nak makan apa utk bukak posa hari ni yek.

Grey punya anatomi

I love Grey’s Anatomy (GA). A TV series that somehow can bring tears to my eyes… hikss. I take the quiz… yippie… I’m Christina.

Ok, from the description I’m nothing like Christina but I really like her strong character. My favorite was Izzie which was before Izzie had an affair with George. So, Christina becomes my favorite then.

What about Meredith? She’s sweet, she’s kind-hearted & she’s like a moderator among them, but she annoys me with her mcdreamy-you-love-me-&-i-love-you-but-ntahapahapa love life.

--------------------------
Actually, I created the post above about a year ago & it has been in my draft since then. I forget why I decided not to publish it, maybe I planned to write more.

Now that I watch the series on YouTube, I think my favorite is still Izzie. However, I still don't get how she could be possibly in love with George. They don't make a good pair, I don't feel the chemistry. Btw, I read on internet that they might leave GA. Can't wait to watch Season 5, but I have to finish Season 4 1st. 8 more episodes of the season to go. Ok, I'm juggling my thesis & GA rite now. Bad student, I know. Roll eyes.

As usual, this series always come out with nice quotes that make me ponder.

"Forgive and forget. That’s what they say. It’s good advice, but it’s not very practical. When someone hurts us, we want to hurt them back. When someone wrongs us, we want to be right. Without forgiveness, old scores are never settled… old wounds never heal. And the most we can hope for, is that one day we’ll be lucky enough to forget."
- Grey's Anatomy (Season 4 Episode 4)

"In some ways we grow up; we have families... we get married, divorced... but for the most part we still have the same problems that we did when we were fifteen. No matter how much we grow taller, grow older, we are still forever stumbling... forever wondering, forever... young."
- Grey's Anatomy (Season 4 Episode 8)

& I'm pondering about the same thing as before. Yeah, it has been almost 2 years.

I guess it's time to forgive & forget. It's time to grow up. If we have to find a reason to do so, then do it for the good old & coming days. For a better life it is.

Cheers mate! ;-)

What Am I Doing Now

Exam dah abis. I should move on to dissertation mode & meet my supervisor. But I still can't let go the sleep mode. It's so enjoyable. Too lazy to start the project. Time is running out. I know. Btw, yesterday is Bank Holiday. I think it's ok to take one which is today, two or four days off. Hehee. For sure, I'll start next week.

Sebelum abis exam, aku memang dah plan nak buat apa lepas exam... relax i.e. renovate this blog, read novels & watch movie on internet.

Well as you can see now, I've renovated my blog. The theme is simple & minimal. So, the background is meant to be white & the header is deliberately to be just that. Not that I'm too lazy to create a new fancy header.

I have finished reading "Where Are You Now". It's a fast-moving thriller. I was hooked rite away & spent the rest of the day reading the book. Yesterday, I started to read "All You Need Is Love" but I'm not in the mood to read a love story now. I need to read something that's 'more-intelligent'.

Today I went to WH Smith & bought Dan Brown's novels...

and

Maybe I should buy "Angles & Demons" but I don't like the title & "Digital Fortress" sounds more interesting.

Yesterday, I tried watching "Da Vinci Code" on internet but I don't like the part the bad albino guy tortured himself so I stopped. That was when I decided I should read the book instead.

I did watch something on internet. Guess what, I watched "Idola Kecil" at TV9.com! All the 10 episodes & grand finale. Actually I don't like the idea of kids entering singing competition. They're kids, they should be exposed to something more educational but hey I'm not their parents. However, they're so sweet & genuine... & they can actually sing. I could see that those kids are smart. They can memorize the lyrics & dance step, sing in tune, follow instructions & most of all they have confidence. I'm impressed.

Now, I'm going to lie on the bed, continue reading "Da Vinci Code" & feel 'intelligent'. Ahhh... how relaxing.

Lebih kurang 1 jam

Post ni takde kene mengena dengan Earth Hour yer. However for those yg participate in supporting the Earth Hour, aku tujukan lagu ni - 'Mother Earth' by Within Temptation. Kat sini mcm takde apa2 pun. Aku tau pasal Earth Hour ni pun sebab layan Diari AF hari2 (sambil makan atau buat assignment yer).

Malam tadi, tengah sedap layan Julia Juli kat TV9.com, tetiba tengok jam dah pukul 2am. Rasa macam baru jer pukul 12am, so aku expect pukul 1. Camna boleh tetiba pukul 2 lak ni. Apa pun, kene tido. Kalau tak, ada yg bangun pukul 12pm esok. So aku pun tido lah. Sebelum tido, check hp dulu... tengok2 ada notification... bgtau yg jam dah diubah ikut daylight saving. Isk... patut lah tetiba dah pukul 2. Forward 1 hour rupanya. Tapi laptop ni tak notify apa2 plak. Nasib baik hp aku kira canggih, automatic change the time & ada notification.

Terbeliak sekejap mata tengok waktu Maghrib pukul 7:42pm. Pocket Islam yg aku install dalam hp aku ni pun bijak gak. Terus niat nak ganti posa hari ni. Yay, tinggal sehari jer lagi! Kalau boleh taknak lah ganti posa bukak pukul 8 lebih kan. Kalau posa bulan Ramadhan tu dah memang tak boleh buat apa.

Ok itu citer kehilangan 1 jam.

Bulan Oktober masa 1 hour backward, tak rasa apa2 plak. Tapi masa tu memang aku tau & ingat. Bila pukul 12am, ok I got another hour of 12am. Hmmm... extra 1 hour... hmmm... ok.

Tu lah dia, masa ni tak pernah cukup. Lebih 1 jam tak rasa apa2, kurang 1 jam terasa plak. Paling best kalau dapat hentikan masa macam puteri2 kayangan dalam Julia Juli tu. Hehee... aku abis layan 15 episod weekend ni. So far citer ni belum menyakitkan hati aku lg & kelakar gak, jadi tak sabar nak tengok episod seterusnya.

Btw, tomorrow is the moment of truth. Esok, jadual periksa kuar. So, I can decide when shall I go home. Kalau boleh, tak nak pikir sgt pasal balik ni. Pening kepala tau (ditambah rasa sedih & frust). So tengok lah camna nanti. Kalau ada rezeki dari segi masa, insyaAllah I'll go home. Otherwise, aku redha (kalau aku meraung sorang2 dalam bilik ni, bukan ada sesiapa tau pun). Yg penting, masa takkan berhenti. InsyaAllah, bulan 9 nanti I'll be back for good.

TARA is back!

My favorite reality TV - The Amazing Race Asia is back! Season 3 - The toughest race ever. Woohooo!

For the 1st episode last Thursday nite, it was tough alrite. Tak sabar2 nak tgk the 2nd episode which will be special 90 minutes.

My comment on Ida Nerina participation - it's more entertaining to see a familiar celebrity face in the race indeed.

I hope someone will upload the series to YouTube supaya aku boleh terus layan citer ni kat UK nanti.

Btw, aku dah amik keputusan tak mau amik lesen TV kat UK nanti, so aku tak bleh tgk TV. Eventhough there's IP TV available in my room with access to 16 channels through PC, I do need a TV license k! By referring here, colour TV license costs GBP139.50 a year. Mahal lah! For black & white TV GBP47.00. Ada lagi ke org tgk TV hitam putih?? Ntahapahapantah kan...

Therefore, no TV! Good for me as one of the steps on being an excellent student... hehee.

Weekend, Sex & The City

I have to admit that rite now I'm so into SATC. Well, I've finished watching Season 1, 2... on the way to finish Season 3... so 3 more seasons to go. So here I am, acting like Carrie Bradshaw & trying to write something 'cute'. No, I'm not gonna write about sex & the city where I live in... nothing much to tell anw. I don't live in a metropolitan city like New York & in fact the country where I live in, is like the opposite where talking about sex is basically a taboo & probably will result in unwanted attention by unwelcome visitor to this innocent blog of mine... hikss.

I did nothing on weekend... absolutely nothing except watching TV & SATC series DVDs, internet surfing, reading the rented novel (just a few pages though), eating & sleeping. I was kinda locked myself inside the house & hibernated. Luckily, I have quite a stock of food stored at home so that I could hibernate peacefully. No need to start the engine & go out. I got a headache on Sunday evening, consumed 2 pills of Panadols & drifted off to sleep after watching CSI from 9 to 12pm. A lil bit surprise because I had no idea that this week it'd be a season finale of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. 17 weeks have passed? It's amazing how fast the time went by...

Yeah, just like the 2 days of hibernation. We can never have enough weekend I guess. The only moment that time had slowed down a lil was during the BTN course... & while D is away. Yeay he'll be back tomorrow. ;-)

The good thing about doing absolutely nothing on weekend is I feel really fresh & ready to work on Monday... seriously. Today, I had pushed my brain to work twice harder compare to the days before & skipped the Monday blues. Btw, can't wait for another weekend... lalala...

An awesome way to deal with emotions...

Whenever I feel my emotions getting the best of me, I simply picture an empty box and I take whatever I'm feeling and put that in the box. And then, I picture myself putting the box away in a big, empty closet and closing the door. Then, if I have time, I go back and open the box and deal with the emotion, in private, like a lady.

3-in-1 Post

nothing really interesting is going on actually. life goes on as usual... just ordinary life of mine... except for a few things which are still not so unordinary... so no need to mention.

1. TARA2 finale

arghhh tensen! malas nak cite... but since i kept reviewing about the show b4 this, kene lah gak review finale. masa finale tu, my favoritism list bertukar lg... aku nak pam and van menang, 2nd marc and rov; and the 3rd the singaporean guys. tp end up budak2 singapore tu plak menang and the philipines guys dpt 3rd place. pam and van 2nd place. tp adrian and collin mmg menang adil lah... bukan sebab last pit stop kat singapore. they have advantage on arranging the nation flags following the order of the race. adrian mmg bijak lah. klu rov sebijak adrian, they'd sure get no 1. tp turned out, bab kenal bendera ni, rov lah yg paling x bijak sekali, sampai dpt jugak ditewaskn oleh van. yg aku tensennya sbb final leg x mencabar langsung! suppose final leg 2 jam... byk cabaran, ada persaingan yg lebih sengit... baru lah tgk pun berdebar2. ni x sempat nak berdebar, dah race to the pit stop. tup2 aje abis. potong stim betul. ada leg yg b4 the final lebih interesting. so, finale ni x gempak lah bg aku.

adrian... johan susun bendera. hehee... anw, they deserve to win.

we didn't win USD100k... but we beat marc and rov. yes, yes YES!

aksi control macho... 3rd place but still manage to smile proudly and patriotically.

2. Newcastle

i already got the offer to the university! tp x accept lg, masih menunggu tawaran drp U lain, especially Liverpool. cpt betul newcastle ni proses application. aku submit on-line application on 1st feb, 5th feb depa dah offer. unconditional offer plak tu... means i don't need to submit any additional information to them, just accept jer... klu nak terima lah. klu x dpt mana2 U yg lain, jwbnya ke Newcastle lah aku.

3. Treasure

yeehaaa!!! akhirnya aku berjaya jugak mndptkn latest album Hayley Westenra bertajuk Treasure. masa balik keje ptg td, tetiba teringat album kompilasi yg baru release... tajuk dia Voices. x ramai yg tau kot kewujudan album ni... tp one one the singers in the compilation is HW lah. so, x dpt album full minah ni pun, dpt yg campur2 dgn artis lain pun x per. aku pun terus lah ke alamanda and pegi ke kedai speedy. aku tgk xde pun album Voices... tp tegerak plak nak tgk cd international female artists. x sangka ada plak album HW ni... mula2 jupe album tajuk Odyssey... dah excited dah... tgk2 ada gak Treasure. terus amik lah dan bayar. masa tgh bayar tu, aku tanya kat cashier ada tak Voices... rupa2nya ada, tp still dlm kotak. wow... RM40++ for 2 cds. still temped to buy the cd as well... tp mengenangkn aku hanya ada spsg telinga... and that sepsg telinga aku nak fokus pd HW dulu, so cancel lah beli Voices. maybe someday later i'll buy it.

I'm a proud ownner of the Treasure from Hayley Westenra.

I like TARA2...

Just drop by to leave a short review on The Amazing Race Asia 2 (TARA2).

Jgn percaya spoiler... I didn't actually. In fact, I'm glad it wasn't true. Paula & Natasha were eliminated last Thursday. Hahahaaa!!! I like...

However my favoritism list has changed a little. Adrian & Collin won again... they don't need my sympathy anymore (yes, sblm ni rasa kesian sbb depa asyik kalah jer but very close to win). So now they are dropped to the 3rd place in my list... switch place with Pam & Van. I just wish Marc & Rov will do better next time. Somehow, I kinda like Pam & Van to win this race... but I think they got to be very lucky then since they are not as stronger as the other all-guys team. One thing for sure, Van isn't a good driver of manual car as Marc & Collin. Watching this show make me miss my skill of driving manual car. The dancing mums got yield by Marc & Rov... I believe they were pissed-off. But please, jgn perasan you were that strong to make other team feel intimidated. Sometimes, people kenekan you just to amuse themselves... since you are the easy target... but that wasn't the reason Marc & Rov had yielded the mums... it was because they were requested by the Thai ladies to do so (but I believe they did get amused since they didn't fancy the mums either). Guess, it wasn't worth at all. Why lah my boys did it anyway??? I hope the mums won't take revenge on them and make them lose the race.

Aksi kejar-mengejar between the all-guys teams.

So that's it... I'll stop looking for spoiler and just enjoy the show.

The Amazing Race Asia 2 (TARA2)

I should start editing my personal statement for other 4 universities that I'm gonna apply... but until right now... yeah, it's already 12am... I didn't start yet. I did read some of the prospectus but every time I want to edit the personal statement, I'll get distracted by the internet... when I reach the point where no more to surf on internet, I'll start blogging... just like now. How I'm gonna to focus on my study then if I'm easily get distracted??? That's the problem that I need to solve later. Now, I need to write about The Amazing Race Asia 2 (TARA2). Hehee... here it goes.

I'm not a true fan of The Amazing Race (TAR). But once I follow the show, I'll be a die-hard fan. I'll get emotionally involve... which is not good because I'll end up feeling disappointed due to the winning of other team instead of my favorite one. Yeah, I've got used to it that my favorite team always manage to last until the final but somehow they failed to win.

The 1st time I ever follow the show was when Rob and Amber were one of the team. I'd rather say that I am a true fan of Survivor. I prefer the show than TAR. So when Rob and Amber participated in the reality show, I got attracted to watch it. I didn't like Rob and Amber in Survivor, but in TAR I have to say, they were good and I supported them till the end. They should be the winner. However, in TAR lucks play important roles... you need good luck to win, not just skills and brain. That was why I hate TAR at the 1st place. Then, in TAR All-Star the couple joined the race again. However they only lasted until the 4th episode after being the 1st team to arrive for 3 episodes in a row. So, I stopped watching TAR of that season... I didn't even know the winner of TAR All-Star.

However, I like TARA... maybe because there is Malaysian team, which I can relate to. I watched the 1st season and as usual got disappointed because my favorite team didn't win. Ok, I was not that proud when the 1st all-girls team won the show. Maybe, I'm not feminist enough.

Now, there are 5 teams left in TARA2. Both Malaysian teams are still on the show... however, maybe I'm not feminist... I'm not patriotic enough as well. I vote for Marc and Rov - the Pinoy team! They are good looking all right, but that not the reason why I like them... I'm not that shallow ok. I like them because they are so terer. I think they had been the 1st to arrive at least 5 episodes in a row! Yeah, I like the strong team. I want the strongest wins... because of their strength mentally and physically... not because of luck. Maybe that just the nature of the game... you do need luck to win which hard for me to accept it. But since I'm just a fan, not that I'm the one who racing for a big cash (which I'll pray for luck continuously - good luck for me, bad luck for other teams)... I want them to win because they deserve to win. However, who am I to say that one team deserves than the other team... but since this is my blog, I have right to say who deserves to win and who's not. Eventually, I'll accept the result. It's just a TV show anyway... with big bucks as a prize... and I don't have any share in it, not even I have any connection to any of them... yeah, I knew it.

For those who follow the show, these 5 teams are their bets to win the race. I arrange them following my favoritism from most to least...

My bet goes to them - Marc and Rovilson from Philippines. They are strong... yeah just look at their muscles... funny, got brain, easy going and energetic. Believe me, not because of their good looks. However, being the strongest team doesn't guarantee of being the most favorable team. Many fans of the show hate them (from what I read in one of Malaysian forums)... one of the reason is because they're always the 1st team to arrive at the pit-stop... so it's boring. Hello, what do you expect? Each team takes turn on arriving at the pit-stop? Please... this is TAR ok. They are competing each other to win big bucks!

Collin and Adrian from Singapore... they are not bad, quite strong, always come 2nd. I don't mind if they win because they are almost on par with Marc and Rov. Adrian is deaf, but he can speak... I'm impress...

Pamela and Vanessa... the team from Malaysia. They're Vince's sisters. Van always had nervous-breakdown... it's irritating but sometimes can be funny. I like them as well, but sometimes I really get annoyed with their stupidity and carelessness. Hard for me to support the team which always make me tense. However I'm glad they're still on the race.

Ann and Diane... yeah another team from Malaysia. Even though I'm not patriotic enough, I'm proud because both Malaysian teams are in top 5. Yeah, you go girls... now I sound feminist, am I? Of course I'm proud. However, I don't understand why other teams hate them. Maybe something they did behind the camera. In front of the camera, I didn't see anything wrong with them so far... ok they are very competitive, but who doesn't in the race like this.

Paula and Natasha from Thailand... I don't like them. I want them out from the game. They were the last team to arrive at the pit-stop... they should have been eliminated already... but lucky (see...) for them it was non-elimination round. I hate them because they like forming an alliance with other teams and expect the other teams stick to it... apa depa ingat ini Survivor ker? This is TAR ok... kalau Rat Race ok lagi nak buat alliance... not so amazing of them to depend on alliance to win the race. If they win, the race certainly isn't an amazing one for me. However, there's a rumor that they'll win the race. I don't mind if one of the above teams wins, but please not them. See, I get emotional.

(All the pics were taken from the official website of TARA.)

Actually before typing this post, I was surfing for spoilers. The 3 teams that will be on final are Marc and Rov, Pam and Van; and those Thai ladies. The final pit-stop is at Bangkok... make it easy for the Thai ladies to be the winner. Since the show is on-going, i guess the spoilers are only rumors because no one can confirm them. We'll see then.

Ha... amik ko... panjang plak aku bercerita pasal TAR. Blogging is surely very distracting. But I think, it's enough for now... I should concentrate on the universities' application. I feel sleepy already... esok lah start buat personal statement. There's always tomorrow, right... ;-)
