Is't a scam?

I received an email today...

Malaysia has had a long standing history of credit card frauds and has been on the high-risk countries list for all major credit card companies. We have banned shipments to Malaysia as a measure of preventing fraudulent activities. This is not a form of discrimination but protection for our business as well as potential victims of identity theft.

As your order has been cancelled by our system, we can no longer "revive" it. However, if you could meet the following criteria, we may be able to create another order for you:

1. Your order must be shipped via International Express by DHL as this will provide a reliable way of tracking the package.
2. You must send in a scan or a FAX of your credit card (front and back) and ID (could be your passport - a page with your photo and information). Our FAX is 425-828-6648.

The leather case for my phone that I had ordered online was canceled by the company itself! Due to the possibility of credit card fraud? Yeah, right... whatever... create another order?? Boleh blah... I'm so pissed off that there is no way I wanna order anything from the website anymore. Fine, if they want to cancel my order, but please cancel the credit transaction as well ok... that's my only concern. Every time I wanna buy something online, I'm fully aware of the risk... it might be a scam. I'm not surprise if BoxWave happens to be one.

I'm in a good mood... :-) so I won't use any offensive word for now. I just wanna say "BoxWave sucks!" :-D

Backstreet's Back

I have courses to attend this week, back to back... but that's nothing. The big thing is... I'm going to Backstreet Boys Unbreakable World Tour in Sunway Lagoon Theme Park Surf Beach... ARHHHHHH!!! I'm practicing screaming my head off over the BSB... yeah rite, like I'm gonna scream anyway. Why not, rite? I hope they'll sing the songs from the Black & Blue album and the albums before more compare to Never Gone and Unbreakable since I don't know a single word to both albums except for "incomplete" maybe... or should I do homework on both albums since I do have them... don't think I have time for that, but I'll see... don't have interest either... so much for an ex-fan. Hopefully, Brian will be cute as ever... hahahaaa... oh how I wish Kevin is still part of the group... Nick, please watch your weight... Howie... whatever... hope all the boys will be charming as hell. Now I'm sounded like a joyous teenager. I do feel young... that's what I like about BSB even though I'm just an ex-fan of them nowadays. Listening to their songs (the one before Black & Blue ok) brings me back down to memory lane of my teen years. Backstreet's back alright!

Leather case for my phone

I just checked my Maybank2u, ohh... at last BoxWave already processed the $10.49 (including $9.50 for standard international shipping) that I've paid online last Sunday... for Designio Leather Case, HTC P3300, Horizontal Flip Cover. How cheap... just RM34.32. Suka nyer... the price for the leather case is just $0.99. The actual price is $42.96... can u believe it... 98% sale? Aku suka. However, still no confirmation email that my order has been shipped. No matter what, I know that I'll have to wait for at least a month for this item nak sampai sini...

Free pouch from HTC... don't like it. It makes my slim PDA phone looks thick for nothing since I still have to keluarkan the phone every time I wanna use it.

Simple and cute pouch that I have bought at Tesco Ampang for RM6. Besides, it maintains the slimness of the phone, it's also can be used to wipe my phone especially the touch screen which most of the time full with my fingerprints.

Live from Tesco Ampang

Ding dong! I'm blogging from Tesco Ampang using my HTC P3300 via available unsecured wifi. Now, the RM2k is justified. Hahaa... I'm so head over heels with this PDA phone. Seriously, it's worth even if the price is above RM2k. Go get one for yourself, even maybe the more high-ends one. I knew that the salesman had cheated me somehow, but I have to thank him for recommended to me this PDA phone. Sekian, PurPle melaporkn utk Edisi Jakun. Hehee...

Introducing my new gadget!

I'm sooo happy... a few days b4 i was hunting for a new mobile phone. This was my mobile phone...

Nokia 6600 or the femes name - Nokia sabun

I don't have any specific reason to buy a new one since this one is still in a good condition... I kinda really like it because it's so rugged & tough. Banyak kali jatuh pun, still ok. It just, I think it's time to change to a new one... the one with wifi. Teringin gak nak PDA phone, the one with stylus and touch screen, so that I can scribble. See, I don't have any specific reason... suddenly, I don't know what's hit my mind, I just feel like to have a new mobile phone... going to UK as one of the excuses. My budget was ~RM1,500. I think if it will costs me RM2k, it's better to buy a new laptop.

After hunting on internet about 2 days, I've came to my decision to have this one...

Sony Ericsson P1i

Why? Simply because I think I still need a keypad... I don't think I can rely on a virtual one especially when I'm gonna make a speed dial. I don't like flipped or slided mobile phone. This model comes with stylus, therefore I can scribble. Wlupun rupanya tak brp cun, but I think this one suits my budget. So, last night I went to Mines Shopping Fair & looked for this mobile phone. I was hoping the price for the original one is ~RM1,500 but unfortunately it's ~RM2k. However, an AP set is ~RM1,400... but I don't really trust the AP set, especially the one which cost me thousands bucks. There was a moment, I've made my mind to buy the original P1i despite the price... until I came to this one shop... which only sells original mobile phone sets. I asked for the P1i, but he suggested me this PDA phone instead...

HTC P3300

He succeeded in changing my mind. Senangnya aku terpengaruh kan. I kinda fell in love with this PDA phone right away... especially after he showing me GPS feature & how easy actually to use virtual keypad without stylus. Mcm kene pukau gitu. I only aware with HTC PDA phone yang RM3k++... I don't know anything about P3300 model. The price is just ~RM2k... much cheaper than I have expected for HTC and other brands of PDA phone... maybe due to no 3G connection. Wlupun tak tau apa2 pasal model ni except for what I've been told by the salesman, tp sbb dah kene pukau, terus amik keputusan nak beli yg ni. Klu salesman tu tipu, tertipu lah aku. The price is RM2,199... after bargaining I got it for RM1,999. It comes with 1G microSD storage card... klu nak 2G kene tambah RM120. I don't want to add extra money since I already spent higher than I have budgeted, so I traded in my Nokia 6600 for that 2G storage card. Selamat tinggal handphone sabun ku...

I know that was very extravagant of me to buy this new mobile phone out of reason... mcm lah kaya sgt. So, for now I have to forget a new laptop, a new whatever... & just enjoying my new gadget... heheee...

3-in-1 Post

nothing really interesting is going on actually. life goes on as usual... just ordinary life of mine... except for a few things which are still not so unordinary... so no need to mention.

1. TARA2 finale

arghhh tensen! malas nak cite... but since i kept reviewing about the show b4 this, kene lah gak review finale. masa finale tu, my favoritism list bertukar lg... aku nak pam and van menang, 2nd marc and rov; and the 3rd the singaporean guys. tp end up budak2 singapore tu plak menang and the philipines guys dpt 3rd place. pam and van 2nd place. tp adrian and collin mmg menang adil lah... bukan sebab last pit stop kat singapore. they have advantage on arranging the nation flags following the order of the race. adrian mmg bijak lah. klu rov sebijak adrian, they'd sure get no 1. tp turned out, bab kenal bendera ni, rov lah yg paling x bijak sekali, sampai dpt jugak ditewaskn oleh van. yg aku tensennya sbb final leg x mencabar langsung! suppose final leg 2 jam... byk cabaran, ada persaingan yg lebih sengit... baru lah tgk pun berdebar2. ni x sempat nak berdebar, dah race to the pit stop. tup2 aje abis. potong stim betul. ada leg yg b4 the final lebih interesting. so, finale ni x gempak lah bg aku.

adrian... johan susun bendera. hehee... anw, they deserve to win.

we didn't win USD100k... but we beat marc and rov. yes, yes YES!

aksi control macho... 3rd place but still manage to smile proudly and patriotically.

2. Newcastle

i already got the offer to the university! tp x accept lg, masih menunggu tawaran drp U lain, especially Liverpool. cpt betul newcastle ni proses application. aku submit on-line application on 1st feb, 5th feb depa dah offer. unconditional offer plak tu... means i don't need to submit any additional information to them, just accept jer... klu nak terima lah. klu x dpt mana2 U yg lain, jwbnya ke Newcastle lah aku.

3. Treasure

yeehaaa!!! akhirnya aku berjaya jugak mndptkn latest album Hayley Westenra bertajuk Treasure. masa balik keje ptg td, tetiba teringat album kompilasi yg baru release... tajuk dia Voices. x ramai yg tau kot kewujudan album ni... tp one one the singers in the compilation is HW lah. so, x dpt album full minah ni pun, dpt yg campur2 dgn artis lain pun x per. aku pun terus lah ke alamanda and pegi ke kedai speedy. aku tgk xde pun album Voices... tp tegerak plak nak tgk cd international female artists. x sangka ada plak album HW ni... mula2 jupe album tajuk Odyssey... dah excited dah... tgk2 ada gak Treasure. terus amik lah dan bayar. masa tgh bayar tu, aku tanya kat cashier ada tak Voices... rupa2nya ada, tp still dlm kotak. wow... RM40++ for 2 cds. still temped to buy the cd as well... tp mengenangkn aku hanya ada spsg telinga... and that sepsg telinga aku nak fokus pd HW dulu, so cancel lah beli Voices. maybe someday later i'll buy it.

Jgn percaya spoiler... I didn't actually. In fact, I'm glad it wasn't true. Paula & Natasha were eliminated last Thursday. Hahahaaa!!! I like...

However my favoritism list has changed a little. Adrian & Collin won again... they don't need my sympathy anymore (yes, sblm ni rasa kesian sbb depa asyik kalah jer but very close to win). So now they are dropped to the 3rd place in my list... switch place with Pam & Van. I just wish Marc & Rov will do better next time. Somehow, I kinda like Pam & Van to win this race... but I think they got to be very lucky then since they are not as stronger as the other all-guys team. One thing for sure, Van isn't a good driver of manual car as Marc & Collin. Watching this show make me miss my skill of driving manual car. The dancing mums got yield by Marc & Rov... I believe they were pissed-off. But please, jgn perasan you were that strong to make other team feel intimidated. Sometimes, people kenekan you just to amuse themselves... since you are the easy target... but that wasn't the reason Marc & Rov had yielded the mums... it was because they were requested by the Thai ladies to do so (but I believe they did get amused since they didn't fancy the mums either). Guess, it wasn't worth at all. Why lah my boys did it anyway??? I hope the mums won't take revenge on them and make them lose the race.

So that's it... I'll stop looking for spoiler and just enjoy the show.

IELTS Result!

I did it. I got band 7.0 for IELTS! Yeehaaaa...!!! Yabedabedu! Anyway, I took the result yesterday. Now the English part which I think the hardest part dah selesai. That means I don't have to resit the exam, pay another RM530 and feel nervous anymore. That means I can fly to UK! I just have to proceed with the U applications and pray I'll get the offer...

Lega... I was so nervous before getting the result... not really, more to piss off maybe because the so-called online IELTS results service not function as it supposed to. Pastu, I had a doubt, betul ker result kuar 31 Januari? I tried to call the British Council, with no luck... no one answered the phone. Carik plak dalam internet... tak juper jugak. At last, I drove to Wisma Selangor Dredging... and I guess you know the rest...

Aku puas hati lah dengan result aku... especially tang speaking.. keputusannya which is 7.0 tak lah mendukacitakan walaupun aku rasa aku quite merepek masa test tu. I hate making silly mistake, I'm glad I didn't. The lowest band of the 4 elements is 6.5 - Writing test. But 6.5 isn't bad at all dgn tahap writing aku yg camni. For Reading and Listening, I got 7.5. So, overall I'm really happy with the result. Yang penting I got more than 6.5 for overall result and all 4 elements are more than 6.0. Syukur, Alhamdulillah.

Masa carik kat internet tarikh bila result kuar, I found this one blog. Tuan punya blog tu pun amik IELTS hari yang sama dengan aku, cuma lokasi berlainan. Hari ni aku check dia punya blog, wow she got 8.0 band! However, she was a bit frustrated with her Writing test result which is 7.0, just like me the lowest one of the 4. Like she said, maybe they were pretty strict. So, 6.5 for my Writing test tu memang ok sangat with the overall result of 7.0 if compared to her. Tetiba rasa mcm bangga lak... heheee...
