A pleasant diversion

I think it's common, the more we're trying to focus, the more we'll get distracted, especially to the lazy people like me. Even you actually got nothing to surf on internet, you'll find something to distract you. As for me, last week, out of nowhere, I decided to serve nuffnang. Check my sidebar.

Readers pun boleh bilang dgn jari, ada hati tu nak generate extra income from blogging. Well, kan orang kata, great achievement begins with a single small step. Macam lah ada cita2 nak jadi blogger tegar. See, how distracted I am.

Btw, the preparation for the coming course reminds me to the MSc days where I had to study, write assignments & look for ideas to be presented. But the course, of course is much more easier compare to the MSc program, which relieves a bit of the stress.

Just a bit though bcos I still have to think about the workload that needs my attention & I couldn't wake up late after staying late at night since I got to go to work. So, bilanya nak study, siapkan assignment & lain2 tu?

The answer is NOW. Do it now (instead of blogging). =P

Panas!

Yup, the weather is hot today. I planned to return a rental book since the due date is tomorrow. However, I spent the day by watching this movie instead.

Not once, but twice! At the 1st time, I watched the movie alone. For the 2nd time, I watched it with JD.

Kalau dah tengok 2 kali pada hari yg sama, maknanya best lah kan. I love the script/screenplay & Fazura's character in this movie. Gedik in a cute way.

If there is TV series adapted from the movie, I guess I'd be one of the fan. I could imagine Fazura (with her gedik-ness & cute dress) & Aaron.Aziz work together as detectives.

Oh my Coach! I should be studying now. =D

One little busy bee

I don't need a fortune teller to tell me that I'll be very busy this coming May.

Note to myself, I have to start preparing for the public speaking/exam & doing the assignment now. Strictly no procrastination. Repeat, no procrastinating.

Quality in disguise

Pada hari Ahad beberapa minggu yg lepas, aku gi sini.

Betul lah kata Akak, baju-baju kat sini murah aje. Aku beli sehelai blouse harga RM25 & plain sleeveless long dress harga RM15. Murah kan? Yer, tapi kualiti kureng lah.

Mungkin ada yg jawab mcm tu. As for me, yg penting nmpk menarik, selesa dipakai &... murah. Hiks.

Lunch tadi aku gi ke salah sebuah shopping complex berdekatan yg tak berapa besar di mana di bahagian bawah terdapat gerai2 menjual baju. Aku jumpa blouse sebijik mcm yang aku beli hari tu. Brand pun sama, iaitu takde brand. So, aku pun bertanya...

Aku: Dik, baju ni harga berapa?
Adik penjual: 79 ringgit. Tp saya bagi akak 69.

Kesimpulannya, blouse yg aku beli tu mmg cun & boleh dibeli pd harga RM25 & RM69. Your choice. =D

A Blu(e) Ray of Mine

Yes, it's a Blu-ray disc boxset of Bourne. The coolest action movies with the coolest action hero. I already got the baik-punya and the original DVDs (but UK region) of the collection. Now, I got the BDs. =D

I'd say a PS3 is a waste if not for the Blu-ray player (since I have no skill in playing the games) =P.

Weekend Getaway

Last weekend, I had a kind of perfect getaway, except that I canceled the plan to bring a book to read. I don't think I have enough time to spend for reading & I was rite. But I did bring a mag, which I just flipped thru the pages while seating facing the sea. I could feel the wind blew into my face & my headscarf danced in the air.

A little pond made by my nephews & niece. All the aquatic animals were indeed real & alive. Of course, the main attraction was the starfish.

BBQ by the side of the beach. The barbecued quails were given by our (chalet) neighbour.

Looking forward for another weekend getaway!

A Perfect Getaway

I did watch the movie at home... layan DVD baik punya. Not bad, but just another psycho thriller movie.

Well, I have no plan to talk about the movie. I'm going to talk (or type?) about my dream-perfect-getaway.

I don't know, but I could only think of the song.

I imagine myself relaxing at the beach while listening to sea-wave, reading a good chic-lit book, feeling girlie & fresh & enjoying the world as the only problems are finding a soul mate & earning enough money to shop. No mystery/thriller book since I don't want to burden my mind with wondering who was the bad guy or the killer, guessing the motive behind the crime & getting extremely hooked with the book.

When I'm tired or bored reading the chic-lit book, I'll walk on the beach, feel the white sand under my feet. Then, on the evening I'll surrender to the sea, get myself wet & instead of just listening to the sea-wave, I'll feel the vibrant.

A getaway won't be perfect without a good meal that satisfies the famish stomach.

Ok, enough dreaming. Got to start working now.

P/s: Al-Fatihah for Allahyarham Din^Beramboi. The is the first time celebrity death has affected me. I'm quite (maybe 'very') fussy about the radio breakfast show that I want to listen to while driving & in the office. Since K&K, I switched between Hitz & Mix, but most of the time just listened to my MP3 until Pak Nil & Pak Din took over the breakfast show on Era.

P/s/s: I've got a book to read during the getaway. Borrowed the book from a practical student in my office. Macam lah sempat nak baca novel. =P
