Tomorrow - 2012

2011 is gonna end & 2012 is coming. 2012 will be a very different year for us, me & JD cos now there are 3 of us! Am looking forward to it.

Alhamdulillah, 2011 has been an amazing year for me. Hope 2012 will be as good or even better :-).

Stroller Hunting

Before giving birth to Honey, I plan to buy Maclaren Quest~Sport stroller since I read lots of good reviews about the stroller besides the reasonable price. However, the stroller is only suitable for 3 months & above, not from birth.


Then, I terbeli My~Dear stroller at the warehouse sale bcos it's cheap & I cant skip the bargain especially when I was gonna buy the matching infant carrier. It's not bad except that it's bulky.. really bulky from my point of view.. after some times looking at it at home. As a new parent, lesson learned - dont ever buy a bulky stroller. So far, we never use the stroller. JD said we might use it when we bring Honey to the zoo.. ntah bila lah tu.

Somehow, about last 2 weeks, finally I decided to have a stroller with a reversible handle so I can face my baby while pushing the stroller. In my mind was Combi Urban~Walker. However, from what I read, it's quite big when being folded.

Sigh. So I'm torn between these 2 strollers - Maclaren & Combi. I kinda like Maclaren better due to its umbrella-fold feature. I like the handle as well which can be the place to hang shopping plastic bags. However, the handle's not reversible, doesnt have an armbar which I think kinda essential for a stroller & cant be used from birth. If only there's a stroller that combines both features of Maclaren & Combi strollers, at a reasonable & affordable price (read: below RM1k)...

Akhirnya setelah membelek kedua2 stroller ini di sebuah kedai barangan baby, we ended up buying this stroller...

Pheww.. nasib baik takde kaler pink. Kalau tak, mau gaduh dgn JD.
It's more like Combi. The handle is reversible,has a detachable armbar, full cover canopy & self-standing after folding. It's ultra lightweight, juz 5kg, lighter than Maclaren & Combi.. so it's not a hassle for me to carry it in & out of a car. It's easy to be opened/folded & unlike Combi, it doesnt take much space in the car. The 5-point security harness fits little Honey well. However, due to its lightweight & small wheels, it's not very suitable to be used on the rough surface. Sekali sekala takpe lah. Lagipun, memang biasanya jalan2 di shopping complex je. Most importantly, 2-months-&-1-week old Honey was comfortable in it...

Meroyan lagi

Arghhh tension. Ohh kali ni bukan pasal kerja, tapi pasal my laptop yang dah berbulan rosak. Alkisah, I decided to fix the laptop by myself by reformatting or restoring the C drive. Dah restore pun, still laptop tu tak elok gak. Hmm...

Suddenly I realized, it's not Windows problem. It's something to do with the display. Might be the graphic card. DEM I ALREADY RESTORE MY C DRIVE! Camna lah selama ni aku boleh ingatkan Windows yang bermasalah.. when I clearly can see that it's a display problem. So I kinda hv made a stupid mistake here. Isk...

I brought my laptop to kedai baiki komputer semalam. As I had suspected, graphic card yang rosak sebenarnya.

I love my laptop not just bcos it's mine & jauh sekali sebab ianya Sony Vaio (nak gak mention tu.. hikss)... I love it bcos I have configured it the way I like it the most. Now that I hv restored the C drive means I have to reconfigure & reinstall the necessary sofwares. Reconfiguring & reinstalling adalah kerja yg renyah & memakan masa. Arghhh.. apa nak buat, nasi sudah menjadi bubur.

Meroyan

Beberapa hari ni aku tension pasal keje. Apa taknya, hari Rabu hantar Honey ke taska, almost for nothing sebab boss baru tak terima cara kitorang buat S.K.T. Dah lah that nite I spent time nak siapkan, kononnya esoknya tinggal hantar je despite the nite before I couldnt really sleep sbb pkul 2:30am tetiba Honey terjaga & menangis, so nak kene pujuk baru boleh tido balik. Pukul 5 Honey bangun lagi utk menyusu. Biasanya pas menyusu Honey akan terus tido tapi kali ni boleh pulak dia ketawa mengekek & tak mau tido. Macam tau2 je esoknya 1st day di taska, so dia pun susah nak tido. Nasib baik Honey baby yg baik. Letak je atas katil biar lah dia main sorang2. Nanti dengan sendirinya tertido. Tapi sebagai ibu risau gak, so kejap2 terjaga tengok dia buat apa.

Hari Khamis hantar lagi Honey ke taska. Memang dah deal dengan owner taska, hanya akan hantar 2 hari je bulan ni. Balik rumah, on laptop JD, konon nak semak semula S.K.T yg dah disiapkn malam td & hantar. Then I got msg from Mas telling tht our new boss doesnt like the way we prepare our S.K.T so we have to redo it. Arghhhh bermulalah tension tahap gaban aku. Penat2 aku siapkan, now kene buat semula??!

Actually I dont really mind. Masalah utama ialah nak access HR.MIS yg hamis lg menyusahkn. DEM SLOW OK. Orang nak paperless, kita pun nak paperless. Buat sistem berkomputer, pakai internet konon canggih & maju, tapi hampeh. SLOW NAK MAMPUS. Kalau komplen, mesti salahkn pengguna jugak. Kononnya kita ni yang suka buat last minute secara berjemaah jd traffic jam pun berlaku di dalam talian. Yeah rite.. Hakikatnya takkan slow kalau sistem tu memang 'canggih' both externally & internally. Kalau juz buat pakai microsoft word, tak payah nak access sistem yg hamis, bengang tetap bengang, tapi takde lah sampai tahap mendidih kepala otak aku ni rasa nak maki aje. Kalau aku maki betul2, still forgivable kot sbb org akan suspek aku menghidap post-natal depression atau bahasa simplenya meroyan.

Fine, I'm not having post-natal depression but still I'll blame my inbalance hormone. Yup, it sounds cliche but it's very true since I'm on red flag rite now. Guess what, this is my 3rd cycle in 1 & 1/2 month. Seems like my cycle is 11 days only. Light bleeding for 4 days, then stop for 7 days, & then the cycle starts again. I'm 100% sure that it's menstrual not postpartum bleeding. So yeah, my hormone is unstable. Pardon me.

I dont actually blame my new boss for the changes. I do think that the new format makes more sense. It juz that we have to submit the S.K.T before 25th. So to make the changes at the last minute is unwise due to the very slow & unreliable HR.MIS.

Well, sehingga saat ini aku masih tak boleh nak access my S.K.T thru HR.MIS. Sometimes I can view my S.K.T but there's error on the page & I cant save any changes. So kene gak gi ofis to use the intranet version instead of the internet version & pray that I'm lucky that the system wont be so slow. Tp kene tunggu JD balik utk jaga Honey. I have drafted my S.K.T following my new boss' format using word, so juz tinggal copy & paste aje.. tapi.. malas nak cakap. Eh nak cakap jugak lah. HR.MIS sucks.

Nursery: Finally

Badan penat tapi mata macam tak mau lelap. Mungkin kerana excited + nervous nak hantar Honey ke taska esok. Secara rasminya Honey akan mula ke taska bulan Januari depan. Ada beberapa urusan di pejabat yang perlu aku selesaikan sebab tu Honey akan kuhantar ke taska esok. Moga2 segala urusan berjalan lancar. Paling penting, moga2 Honey akan dijaga sebaik mungkin.

Talking about nursery, alhamdulillah, finally seperti bulan jatuh ke riba, aku jumpa taska yang memuaskan hati. Syukur, doaku dimakbulkan Allah. Memandangkn minggu ini aku perlu ke ofis, aku telah menyuruh JD menghantar borang pendaftaran ke taska yang telah dipilih sebagai taska sementara seperti yg telah aku ceritakan dalam pos "Nursery". However, JD kept procastinating of delivering the form. Tiba2, pada hari Ahad yg lalu, kami menerima flyer iklan taska yg dimasukkn ke dlm peti surat. Apa lagi, aku pun call lah nombor yg tertera pada flyer tersebut.

Yesterday, I went to the nursery & met the owner. Memang puas hati. Aku tak kisah untuk mengekalkan Honey di taska tu. Sebab tu lah aku kata seperti bulan jatuh ke riba. Siapa sangka kan, di kala hati kerisauan memikirkan pasal taska Honey, tiba2 terima flyer tu & dapat gak taska di kawasan perumahan yg memuaskan. Still feeling sad to leave Honey with strangers tapi takde lah ralat sgt since I knew that the place is ok. Luckily, JD hasnt submitted the registration form of the 'temporary nursery'. Everything happens for a reason indeed.

Pandanglah.. Lihatlah...

Nursery

If I chose to have maternity leave for only 60 days, I have to go back to work today. Time flies really fast isnt it? Seriously if I have to, I cant bcos I'm absolutely not ready. Otherwise, if possible I would like to have more than 90 days maternity leave.

(Arghhh.. tension. I hv typed a long post but... arghhh... it's gone. This app doesnt hv automatic saving feature. Note to myself, this will be the last time I use this app to write a blog.)

I'd say tht I'm not an indecisive person. I hardly hv a hard time to make a decision before.. before giving birth to Honey. Oh rite, even before Honey was born, I was in a dilemma on how to deliver Honey. I guess, when it comes to Honey's matter I couldnt help for wanting the best, considering all the options thoroughly & being fussy even though I dont mean to.

Currently I'm in a dilemma to pick Honey's nursery. I plan to start sending Honey to a nursery next 2 or 3 weeks. So I hv to pick one asap. There are many nurseries in my housing area but the standard are so-so. I've checked out 2 nurseries, I'd say tht the ambiences are dissatisfying. Actually there are 2 nurseries that catch my interest based on what I see on internet. However, the placement for baby is already full. My mistake indeed bcos I dont call & book the place earlier. Lesson learned. Next time, when Honey's gonna turn 4yo, I'll survey & book a kindy earlier.

After discussing & considering the pros & cons of each nursery with JD, I think I've made a decision. Even I dont like the ambience of the nursery, but I think I'm gonna give it a try. The reasons why do I pick it bcos it's the nearest, I've been informed tht the house next to the nursery will be rented just to place the babies which I hope will provide a better ambience for Honey & I happened to read on internet that the babysitters are good. Those are the pros, still there are cons to be considered. So the decision is not finalized yet. However, I do plan to send Honey there temporarily until a new branch of one of the nurseries that I'm interested with is opened. At least that's what I've been told by the owner besides the current one is already full when I called her.


This might be the place where Honey's gonna stay during the day..
I know tht a baby might doesnt pay attention & appreciate her/his surrounding but I couldnt help feeling sad to leave Honey at a place where the ambience is not as good as I hope for. To be honest, juz thinking that I'm gonna leave my tiny-unable to talk-baby to strangers, breaks my heart. Haih... kalau ikutkan memang tak sampai hati. Ya Allah, pelihara lah kesihatan, kebajikan & kesejahteraan anakku. Amin.

Huhuu.. which one?

Banyaknya mainan, colorful... I like. Sampai rambang mata nak memilih. I ended up entering the shop thrice bcos I couldnt decide which stuff I wanna buy for Honey.. semata2 sebab nak redeem baucer ToysRus bernilai RM40 which will be expired this 15th. Finally, I decided to buy this...



Actually Honey already have the same stuff which we attach to either her playpen or rocker. Tapi yg ada tu pakai bateri & tak boleh letak kat stroller.

Btw, dapat baucer RM40 tu sebab beli rocker ni...


Ada mainan gantung2 gak tapi boleh dicabut. The rocker can be converted to a chair for toddler. In the previous post, ada gambar Honey dalam rocker ni.

Dulu enjoy cari barang sendiri such as shoes & handbags. Now, bertambah enjoy cari barang anak plak.. which means more reasons to shop ;-).
