Breast Pump

Ok, let's talk about breast pump. Finally.

Time is running out & I certainly need to make up my mind as soon as possible.

Dulu masa Honey, aku guna Spectra 3. I was satisfied with the performance. The 3rd nite after Honey was born, I already used it due to engorged breast. 1 week after, I was on antibiotic due to fungal infection & the breast pump became my best friend since I couldn't breastfeed Honey. So yes, I think breast pump should be in the to-buy/have list before deliver.

It was a good breast pump. However, after using it I know I want a breast pump with at least the same performance but lighter & can be battery operated. So when a colleague requested me to sell the breast pump, I was happy to let it go.

So now I need to buy a new breast pump. Before, my target was Medela~Swing. However, after sometimes, I think it's better to buy a double breast pump instead of single. My budget remains the same, below RM700. The cheaper the better. Hehee. So Freestyle is a big no no.

So fine, I want a cheap but good, light & can be battery-operated double breast pump. I'm torn between 2 options rite now... MiPump & Rumble~Tuff.

- Soft suction (some says like Freestyle)
- Less noise
- T~handle to perform double pumping

Cons
- Possibility of backflow into the tube
- Less features

¤ Rumble~Tuff


Pros:
- Many features
- No backflow
- Manual operated option
- More reviews from local mommies

Cons:
- Noisy
- Many parts

Rite until now I haven't decided. Dua2 ada kelebihan & kekurangan. Sometimes I think I'd go with MiPump cos less parts need to be washed & I like the handle idea but sometimes I think I prefer RT cos of the many good reviews from local moms & the features. Seriously, tak tau nak pilih yang mana. Kalau ada yang fikir, iyer2 je dok survey breast pump, tapi tak breastfeeding pun... huhuu well, kalau aku berjaya fully breastfeed masa Honey dulu takde la susah2 tak tau nak pilih macam sekarang. Memang amik Freestyle dah. Sebab pernah gagal la takut nak beli mahal2 but still I'm hoping I can make it this time. Kene think +ve kan...
