What's on your mind?

Sebaik pulang daripada Alamanda petang tadi, berSMS dengan JD. Tersentuh sedikit berkenaan FB on how some people are really crazy on updating the status. Kebetulan, pagi ni kat Hot bincang pasal status FB. It was interesting indeed since I also have my own opinion on the subject.

For me, life is complicated enough. So don't make it more complicated by making a restriction in a social website called FB. Chill. Just write anything that you can't keep to yourself & needs to be shared with other people. Tak perlu gaduh-gaduh nak create a guideline apa yang boleh & apa yang tak boleh.

But I guess we always have to remember that this is an era of reality shows. So, if you make it too personal, you'd become apart of the reality shows & be judged by your 'friends'. So, if you don't mind sharing with other people, I guess you don't mind as well letting other people judge you. I'm one of the fans of reality shows. Saje nak bagitau.

Nowadays, with the existence of internet, we don't have to be a celebrity & appear on a mainstream media to get famous. Everyone could have a taste of stardom. Some of us are very proud for having thousands 'friends' in FB. Seperti lihatlah dunia, aku mempunyai 'kawan' yang ramai, bakal tercalon dalam Bintang Popular & menang sebiji kereta. Ok, I'm being sarcastic now. Tak baik tau.

Ok, back to the FB status, I have to admit even though I believe in a freedom to update anything, I hate this kind of status & something like it...

Tak tau nak makan apa hari ni. Sila bagi cadangan.

Atau ringkasnya...

Nak makan apa ye hari ni?

I won't comment. But if I comment, it'd sound like this...

Kalau dah tak tau nak makan apa, tak yah lah makan!

(Riwayat Muslim)
Kes ni pulak, bukan takde makanan, tapi terlebih makanan sampai tak tau nak makan apa. Ish, ish, ish...

Actually this isn't the reason why I hate the status. Saje nak tunjuk baik sedangkan diri sendiri yang bermasalah :P. The problem is...

Hello... I desperately need to lose weight but it's so though to be on a diet because I always crave for something. I always have something in mind that I'd love to eat. Like yesterday, I told my friends that I'm craving for this one specific meal. The problem with this meal is the quantity is so much. I'd need to run for miles or fast for at least 2 days in order to burn the calories. Jadi kepada sesiapa yang tak tau nak makan apa hari ini, bersyukur lah & tak payah makan. InsyaAllah, you'd survive since I believe that most of us already have extra unnecessary fat in our body.

I'm ok with it if the status owner is skinny or thin enough. But...

Sorry, I don't think I have 'friends' in FB that matched the description. Hiks gurau ajer... :P

Besides closing the relationships with friends & families, for me FB is also a good medium to promote business. However, recently one of my friends update her status by making an announcement that she doesn't wanna be tagged with any selling products. My comment would be just remove it if you don't like it. Or if it really annoys you, why don't you remove the source. Yes, I mean remove the 'friend' who always tag her with those selling products. I doubt that 'friend' is really her friend anyway. Lagipun, it's much much better to be tagged than to be received calls frequently by 'friends' who are promoting their products, isn't it?

See, what's on my mind is too long to be shared in FB.

But I guess in FB...

What's on my mind remains on my mind.

Ok, chill :D.
