Due Date!

25/10/2011... Today is my expected due date to deliver Honey. Alhamdulillah, Honey had been delivered safely 2 weeks earlier, which was exactly at week 38 of the pregnancy.

Suddenly I wonder, if I insist on waiting & hoping for normal delivery, when actually would I met Honey? But I guess, this is it, this is the fate & I couldnt be more grateful :-).

Actually I wanna write about my experience on delivering Honey. Mesti ramai yg nak tau kn (tetiba feeling mcm ramai reader) how I came up with the decision to go thru c-sect at last minute, had discussion about it with my OB at 10am, got my OB approval, just booked any available bed, went back home to take baby & my stuff, surrendered (being warded) at ~1pm, being prepared for operation at ~2:30pm, pushed to OT at ~3pm & finally Honey was born at 4:09pm 11/10/2011.

Eh somehow I hv summarized almost the whole story. On how I came up with the final decision, it was actually JD's. I had checkup on Thursday, the week before. Coincidentally, my appointment was on the evening & JD was able to accompany me. After listening to Dr.Hamidah's explanation & rational why we had been given the option, JD thought it made sense. I felt the same way too when I 1st listened to the explanation. So we came up with the final decision & I called DH on Friday to tell her that we opt for c-sect where she asked me to meet her on Tuesday, 11/10/11 for further dicussion. The rest is as summarized above ;-).
