The Room

Remember the previous post that I had acted like Paris Hilton sbb terkejut tgk bilik kecik. Take another look at it, actually bilik ni tak lah kecik sgt. Cuma maybe aku expect larger since I pay extra for a larger room which is GBP77.00 weekly. Standard size punya bilik costs GBP72.80 per week. Well, I've entered the standard size bedroom... yeah it's much smaller.

So here are my room pics. Amik gambar ni before Re*Net buddies datang to assist me get connected to internet, so kemas lah sikit bilik ni. Actually masih bersepah... with cloths & papers everywhere.

Lagi satu masa aku sampai, there was no pillow & duvet/blanket. So, aku kene beli the bedding pack for GBP25.00... dapat lah bantal & duvet satu & 1 set sarung bantal, tilam & duvet... the light blue plain one as you see in above pics. Ada kotak tepi baggage tu, tu lah kotak bedding pack yg aku beli.

Aku tak suka karpet dia, looks a lil bit worn out. So, aku gunakan sarung duvet yg dibeli kat sini sebagai alas lantai. Nasib baik, aku mmg ada bwk sarung duvet dr Msia. So sarung duvet & bantal yg cantik tu, mmg aku bwk dr Msia tau. Actually tak tau pun diorang pakai duvet kat sini, cuma aku rasa sarung duvet is more flexible than fitted sheet. Lgpun ada diskaun 50% masa beli tu. Hehee... that was the actual reason.

Lega rasanya sbb amik bilik ni. Dulu masa nak book, I was like berkira-kira. I even did some measurement of the dimension of the room following the floor plan. Actually takde lah beza sgt living in a smaller or larger room, cuma lapang skit fikiran aku ni bila bilik lapang. Huh... bunyinya sungguh ngengada aku kat sini kan.

Aku takde mood nak amik the pics of shared bathroom & kitchen. Takde yg menarik pun utk ditunjukkn. Bilik air dia kecik... cuma ada sinki, tandas duduk & shower room yg gelas tu. No bathtub. Demand tu nak bathtub... hehee.

Satu lg kelebihan amik bilik besar, bilik tu kat ground floor... so tak yah naik tangga & there're only 3 rooms kat ground floor with 1 bathroom & the kitchen of course. So, senang nak pegi dapur & bathroom biasanya takde org. Kat tingkat atas ada 5 bilik with 1 bathroom. Well, org tingkat atas boleh lah gak guna bilik air kat bwh, cuma not their 1st choice lah kn. Setakat ni aku cuma penah jumpa 3 org housemates jer. Aku rasa mcm lebih sbb peti ais penuh.

Kat dapur, we have agreement to use our own equipments to cook. No sharing. Dalam peti ais plak, rak dibahagikn... so our foods won't mix up. So, ok lah.

I haven't really utilize the kitchen yet. Ermmm, seperti yang dijangkakn yg rajin guna dapur adalah org dr China. I did wish before coming here that aku tak perlu berkongsi rumah dengan depa sebab mmg tau depa ni akan rajin memasak. Tp rasanya, mmg susah nak elak sebab depa terlalu ramai kat sini. Rasanya majoriti kot. Kedua banyak adalah India. Kat rumah aku ada gak dari India sorang, tp tak penah plak nmpk kat dapur. I wish semua housemate aku camtu. Tp nak buat camna... :-(

Malas nak amik gamba bilik air & dapur, gamba pintu pun jd lah ye.

Oh yer, jemput lah datang. Don't let any of the above facts turn you off to come. If I can survive here for a year... for a couple of weeks then, you'll surely can enjoy yourself. ;-)
